It is a now a long war of attrition. Russian advantage in manpower and arms will slowly make in-roads against out-gunned and out-manned Ukrainians. The "blitz" pukin' putin wanted never happened and the war is now a GRIND it out war, something the Russians know well.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time.

The Head of State noted the importance of visits of foreign high-ranking officials to our country.

"These are very important direct signals of support, first of all for the Ukrainian people, our people, who see that they are not left alone with today’s ordeals," he said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the government and people of Finland for their support. In particular, for five packages of defense aid, sanctions against the Russian Federation, as well as for financial and humanitarian aid.

The Head of State stressed the need to impose the next, sixth package of sanctions against Russia by the EU as soon as possible. The key elements of the development of the democratic community's sanctions policy against the aggressor were discussed separately.

The President noted the importance of Finland’s support for Ukraine's future membership in the European Union and for the EU decisions to achieve this goal that are needed now already.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the importance of Sanna Marin’s visit to Irpin and Bucha.

"It was extremely difficult to look at everything that Russia has done to these cities. Many people died. At the same time, the heroic spirit of the Ukrainian people, who are fighting for their freedom and for the whole of Europe, is admirable,” said the Prime Minister of Finland.

Sanna Marin stressed that her country and people today understand Ukrainians very well, given their historical experience.

The President of Ukraine also informed the Prime Minister of Finland about the started comprehensive work on planning the reconstruction of our state after the victory. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the people of Ukraine count on the active participation of Finland in this process and invited them to take a Ukrainian region, city or industry under their patronage for post-war reconstruction.

Garland is launching a war crimes accountability team, which will share expertise in forensics, evidence collection and legal advice. The U.S. is already sending money to Ukraine to help the country gather, preserve and analyze evidence of suspected war crimes, including the killing of civilians. Instead of engaging in lawful combat by renouncing their British citizenship and enlisting in the Ukraine army, they chose to fight in street clothes - thereby putting Ukraine's civilian population at risk - and violate the laws of war. They are the technical definition of war criminals.

I agree Ukraine will heroize them like they tend to do with war criminals.

The New York Times reported the military said it destroyed a Russian air defense system as well as vehicles on the island.

Satellite images released by U.S. space technology company Maxar Technologies show the island on June 17 and again on June 21, depicting newly charred areas. Snake Island, also known as Zmiinyi Island, was the site where Ukrainians soldiers refused to surrender to a Russian warship in the early days of the war.

A couple months ago SJWs were crowing how the sanctions would bring Russia to its knees and some even suggested Putin would be overthrown! (Or refreshing the meme that he's in year 23 of dying of terminal cancer.)

Now the ruble is at a 7 year high and there's serious talk of the German state collapsing.

It's almost as if Russia spent the last decade preparing for this moment and knew exactly what they were doing while the West was busy trying to get chicks with dicks onto girls swimming teams.
