Re: Texas Invokes Invasion Clause, Readies for War

They first have to "succeed to succede".
Even though the U.K. was fortunately allowed to regain its independence from 'Big E.U.ro', the situation is neither so tolerant nor progressive in the U.S.A., where the Government violently forced the fledgling C.S.A. to remain enslaved in the chains of statehood.

Texas is not withdrawing.

Texas officials are defying a Monday Supreme Court ruling prohibiting them from blocking the federal government from removing razor wire installed by the state along the U.S. border with Mexico, prompting calls for the Biden administration to respond.
Governor Abbot has issued a public letter that says the federal government has broken the compact between the states and he is now in control.

The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States.

The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, Ā§ 4 has triggered Article I, Ā§ 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, Ā§ 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texasā€™s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border.
Texas is sending more troops to take more territory from the confused and impotent U.S. Government, paralyzed from action due to its ailing president. In Oklahoma, Governor Stitt has said "Oklahoma stands with Texas."
https://twitter.com/GovStitt/status/1750251885783879831

President Trump yesterday ordered all states to raise forces to support the Texas cause. So far, 25 governors have signed a letter saying they are allying themselves with Texas against the weak, ailing, catatonic and deeply unpopular Biden who is powerless to respond as his authority is swept aside.

President Biden can and will take over command of the Texas National Guard to enforce the recent decision of the US Supreme Court.

Go ahead Governor Abbott and make President Biden's day, lol

Texas Military Forces

Has 3 parts.
Texas National Guard
Texas Air National Guard
Texas State Guard

The Texas State Guard is a state defense force that assists and augments the other Texas military branches and civil authorities in times of state emergencies, and on-going support of National Guard units and local communities. They are not part of the federal armed forces command structure, but rather operate purely as a state-organized and controlled military force.

The governor is the commander in chief of the Texas State Guard. Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution states that "He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have the power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions."

So the side that is defending against invasion is the 'Army of Ado...'?
Using that same 'logic', Churchill must have been the one leading the 'Army of Ado...' back during the Blitz.

Clearly not an invasion, but a refugee issue.

Your comparisons to the blitz is silly...hardly logic.

No. It is your silly word games carry no water.
If people enter without permission they are invaders/intruders, whatever they want to call themselves.

However, if you do think the invaders should be the one to define the situation, then you negate all laws of trespass (including rape and home invasion).

I also recall this quote stack that shows you are all for such attrocities, but only when they befall people and politics that you don't support.

In your hypothetical example of a sniper in a house, are you supporting the IDF tactic of simply bombing the entire street until you can't see anything moving?

As much as the US/UK invasion of Iraq was diabolical and resulted in 1 million+ deaths in total, even the US military (not exactly known for being clinical) managed to invade and capture cities without nearly the level of civilian death or displacement that the IDF is causing in Gaza.

The ruthlessness of the Hamas terrorist attack on civilians which included torture, rape, murdering babies and the elderly on October 7th, was sickening....what did you expect? Ceasefire negotiations the following day?

The savagery resulted in a retaliation of revenge! What did the people of Gaza expected? Hamas and their followers got their just desserts. To bad so many civilians had to pay with their lives.

Ruthless terrorists? Just desserts?
So... what's the difference?
I guess all killers have there reasons... and no victim is ever innocent, ...just dead.

When you put that way, it does almost sound like justice...

Who knows, maybe such virtue will come your way some time soon? Keep your fingers crossed.

German and Japanese civilians received their just desserts during World War II. They supported the massacre of civilians when they invaded their neighbors.

You reap what you sow

Then I will presume you also apply that same logic to every murder, rape, disfigurement, abortion, torture, genocide, holocaust, and enslavement in history.
The only logical alternative would be some form of double-standard bias, bigotry, and hypocrisy.

So whether you call it Karma, or any other word for such selectively moralistic rubbish, it only reveals your self-serving, politically-motivated, double standards. Nothing more. That is unless you go further and make a universal moralistic claim that all human suffering is equally justified and deserved.
It still sounds like voodoo claptrap to me, but at least it would be unbiased voodoo claptrap.

The United States Supreme Court has already ruled against Texas. President Biden will support the Rule of Law.

Ha! Those brown-shirts you support die in record numbers... and it's all their own fault for being border-rapists.
And you are also drenched and dripping red with their guilt, ...so be prepared. When you 'pound sand' it will turn into blood-mud.
