Agreed! Thank God I didn't loose a family member!
I was 9 when war broke out and I remember the fear, the shelter in my basement (where almost all my neighbors came regularly), my father that was on guard duty with civil defense (he volunteered for army, but they turned him down because he was too old so went to civil defense), refugees that we took...
Any my village wasn't so affected by war (although we were 4 miles from enemy positions they only managed to blow up our gas station).
I'm a pacifist but effects of that war are still strong in me.
