Nah, I'm going to buy a new gun tomorrow. It's a very small an concealable 22 revolver with five shots. It's about 2 by four inches, very nice.
I would have bought it today but the gun store is closed on Sundays...

In '08 I stopped voting for "the lesser of two evils" because its STILL evil! I have been a registered Republican my whole adult life, no more. I am changing my party affiliation to Independent. These low life's have to be stopped! By this I mean Democrats and Republicans!
Time to start another one of Glen's books, An Inconvenient Book.

Everything is so black and white to you ( no pun intended) , there is such a thing as scale you realise. Even if the current economic situation in the USA were to get twice as bad, and last twice as long, the average citizen would still be vastly more affluent than those who were unfortunate enough to be born in the Third World. Stop whining and thank your lucky stars that it is only by chance that you have been able to stuff your face all your life rather than watch your children die of malnutrition.

Of course he's going to be anti American. What did you expect?

That , amongst other things , explains why one country prospers rather than another but it has zero influence on where any particular person is born. I realise that it was pure luck that I was conceived in Britain rather than , for example, sub Saharan Africa and for that I am grateful.
The fat moron however seems to think it was his God given right to be born in an afluent society, seems to think that he lives in a magical chosen land and that milk and honey should always flow.
The fact is that the USA is struggling because too many of its people have become complacent, they have spent far more than they earn and its now biting them in the arse.
The USA is not alone in this respect, the UK also has a horrendous level of personal debt but note that we are not flooding the forums with constant whinges about how terrible and unfair everything is. Blame the politicians all you like but the average American consumer has much to answer for also ,if your GDP had increased by as much as your waistlines the last 20 years you would all be laughing. Does pointing this out make me anti American, I think not, rather it makes me anti stupidity which seems to be the bedrock supporting fatboys frequent rants.

You forgot to mention that I eat lentils and worship at the feet of a transvestite wearing a goat mask, surely these details are as precise and relevent to the discussion as the above
