Well, it looks like it's going to be later.

Update

With 8 battles over, we now have 7 fiefs that were defended well and good, including Sponheim which was attacked from all sides available! Lord Proximus Ventor holds an impressive record of winning 9 out of 11 battles on Feudal War this entire tournament. Perhaps he'd do well if he took to the battlefield of his neighbouring fiefs, like he is doing in Ansbach now.

Lord danryan is the first to take a casualty, taking over the fief of Poland. This is the second round in a row that Poland has shifted hands of power. The citizens must be running around the streets in chaos right now. Only time will tell if the citizens of Poland are willing to fight fervently for their new fieflord.

Update

Lord danryan was forced to retreat from Pomerania, after his troops grew tired from the extensive battling, bringing the battle to a close.

Meanwhile, Lord beanyuk vanquished the armies of Bohemia, slaying Lord ubersky in the process, and bringing the remaining lords in the field down to 10.

4 more battles, with 3 almost ending, and 1 still in its early stages.

Hey guys, I'll be extremely busy these next 4 days. I'll be spending the whole day out and I when I get back home I'll barely have enough time to do the basic stuff in life before I get to sleep, so I hope you all understand I won't be able to update my tournaments so often during the time, sorry!

Update

A whole string of battles came to a conclusion, with many successfully defended. beanyuk also conquered Proximus Ventor's last remaining fief, and thus eliminated him from the competition, bringing the total players remaining down to 8.

Only 2 battles remain, with one in it's sixth and potentially last stage of battle, while the other battle is still in its first stage, and looks set to progress to a few battles beyond that.

Re: The King is Dead [Elimination Round 1 - Updated 9 Jan '1

Postby anamainiacks on Sat Jan 08, 2011 11:10 pm

Update

The battle over the king's lands has gone on for close to 2 years till now. After discussion with the remaining lords contesting for the land, the lords have agreed to put this squabble to an earlier end.

The lords will meet on a separate battlefield, waging mass battles on the Borders (Feudal War), Castles (Seige!), and Courts (Draknor - Level 1) in succession. They will be supported by the armies from the fiefs they have conquered so far, with each fief contributing 1 army.

The first 2 lords to be eliminated from the game will have suffered huge losses, and lose 1 army each. The lord that wins the game will also earn extra resources for the next round, which will allow him to recooperate if he happens to be one of the first 2 lords to be eliminated in the next battle, and prevent him from losing armies.

When a lord has no more supporting armies, he will surrender his fiefs and flee the country, and the remaining lords will continue the mass battles with 1 less lord.

To avoid stalemates, battles will have escalating spoils for 6-player to 3-player battles. Once there are 2 lords left, spoils will be reverted to flat rate. Also, when there are 3 or less lords left, only the first lord to be eliminated will lose an army.

Summary
  • 6-player escalating games, starting with Feudal War, followed by Siege! then Draknor - Level 1, and back to Feudal War again
  • Each fief currently held contributes 1 supporting army to their player
  • First two players eliminated from each game lose 1 supporting army in battle
  • Player that wins the game gains immunity for the next game
  • Player is eliminated when he has no armies remaining
  • Game size decreases as players are eliminated
  • For 3-player games, only first eliminated player will lose 1 army
  • For 2-player games, escalating spoils will switch to flat rate

Postby anamainiacks on Sat Jan 22, 2011 10:32 am

Update

The first elimination round is over, as acores2005 and Darin44 were the first two players eliminated from the first game of the elimination round, leaving acores2005 with no armies left in the battlefield. As such, we now move on to the second elimination round.

The immunity for the next game is still up for grabs, but the next game has been created. Darin44 and Johnny Rockets are at risk of being eliminated from the battle altogether, and will have to fight hard to ensure they aren't taken out quickly!

Postby anamainiacks on Sat Feb 05, 2011 9:33 am

Update

The second elimination round is completed, with Darin44 sailing away from the competition after being taken out second for the second time in a row.

Johnny Rockets still holds on strong with his last army, which seems to have had great resiliance, earning him both immunities so far! We'll see if he can keep this up long enough to win it altogether!

danryan still remains untouched at 10 armies with him. Unless any of the lords can win 5 or more straight 1v1 matches against him, some action needs to be taken soon!

Round 3 of eliminations has begun. At least we can be sure that this time, that it'll last more than 1 game.

Update

We've completed 3 games in Round 3, and still no elimination yet! We see stellar effort from Johnny Rockets, who still remains in the competition while starting with only 1 army, while the others are putting up a good fight, trying to save themselves from elimination as well!

As Johnny Rockets will be taking the immunity for the 3rd game, it means nobody can be eliminated in the 4th game, and thus we'll play the 5th game at the same time, if you guys don't mind? After all, Feudal War games take a little longer to complete.

After fighting hard for 8 long battles, winning a good number of these battles, Johnny Rockets has finally retired from the fray.

Update

Round 4 is quickly over as beanyuk was finished off.

The last and final round between the two remaining lords, danryan and seamusk, now commences, with both lords having the same number of armies left! However, danryan has a slight upper hand, having immunity from the previous game.

I thought of having 3 battles at a shot, since they're all 1v1s and neither will be eliminated for quite a while. Hope that's okay with you guys! If either of you would rather not, please reject the game invitation and let me know what you're comfortable with. I'll send out future sets accordingly (:

Good luck! It'll be a jolly good fight!
