I haven't been rushing to get to the scores since there are still games ongoing. My current job has been killing me, and I've been trimming my CC participation to just the essentials. The essentials, in this case, meant to keep the games moving along, and push the scoreboard to the back burner.

However, with very few games left now, this is quickly moving higher on my priority list. I doubt if I will have time this weekend, but next weekend quite possibly I will start to assemble scores.

Ok, there are still a couple games going, but they have passed round 30, and so should have been subject to the deadlocked games rule in the original Post 1. I shall have to start compiling scores.

Expect the finals to start soon. I can't give an exact day, but soon.

Okay, starting the process of adding up the scores. First, a refresher on the scoring system:

In a Standard game: 1 point for each opponent eliminated, and 2x + 1 points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player standard game and eliminated 3 people, you would get 3 points for the eliminations plus 13 (2(6) + 1) points for winning for a total of 16 points.

In a Terminator game: 2 points for each opponent eliminated, and x + 2 points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player terminator game and eliminated 3 people, you would get 6 points for the eliminations plus 8 points for winning for a total of 14 points.

In an Assassin game: 3x points for winning a game with x players. So if you win a 6-player assassin game, you would get 18 points.

No matter what the game type is, and no matter how many players there are, players will, on average, get 3 points per game. Because of this, the number of players in your games will vary depending on how many players advance past each section.

If a player kicked out of a standard game for deadbeating or breaking the rules, no one will receive any points for his elimination. If the player is kicked out of a terminator game no one will receive points for his elimination unless they actually conquer all his territories. If the player is kicked out of an assassin game, scores will not be affected[/spoiler]

Ok, I have managed to compile the scores of all the games. I posted one game at a time, starting from HERE and finishing HERE..

The total after adding in the previous scores is posted HERE.

Congratulations to uckuki, xabigerrard, musteriuz, and uptothemax who have made the top four!

You probably remember that a while ago I wrote to you about switching from a two-player final to a four-player final. Only one player objected to that change (I won't say who, since he wrote by PM and I'm not sure if he wanted his objection kept private.) None of the players who actually made it to the top four objected to the change. Most of the players who made it were supportive of the change, so I will be going ahead with the four-player final.

I'm out of time for today, so I can't start making the final games today, but I will do it soon. I hope I can get to it in the next three days, but for sure it will be within six days. In the meantime, anyone who wants to review the scores, point out any errors, etc., should do so.
