- And a KNOCKOUT phase to take us from the 32 Survivors at the end of the Tournament..........

RULES

This is a Round based Tournament where each Round needs to complete before we commence a new Round of Games.

SURVIVAL PHASE

Each Round each player will play 3 Games against the same opponent.

Map: Baltic Crusades
Settings: Auto, Sequential, Flat Rate, Chained, Foggy, Trench.

The SOLE OBJECT of the SURVIVAL PHASE is to reach the KO stages. When we get to the KO Phase, POINTS become meaningless! Up to that Phase, Points accumulation will only get you BYE's to get closer to the KO's! But these BYE's become CRUCIAL. Because players will FALL while you automatically advance to the next Round!

The SURVIVAL PHASE continues until ONLY 32 Players....or less SURVIVE!

SCORING
- Win 3-0 = 2 Points.
- Win 2-1 = 1 Point.
- Lose 1-2 = Zero Points, but.......You SURVIVE to progress to the next Round.
- Lose 0-3 = TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION regardless of your points total.

BYES
- For every 40 Players set to participate in a SURVIVAL ROUND, The Tournament Leader will recieve a BYE in the following Round (excluding Rd 1 Obv).
- If 300 Players progress to Rd 2, there will be 7 BYE's up for Grabs. If only 250 make it, then only 6 BYE's will be up for Grabs.
- You cannot acculumate any points in a Round where you are lucky enough to have a BYE.

ODD MAN BYE
- If this leaves an ODD number of players. An additional BYE is added........The ODD MAN BYE.
- Meaning the next highest player on the Scoreboard also gets a BYE.
- This BYE is not certain, if a player is KICKED, the ODD-MAN is brought back into compete in the Round.

TIE-BREAKERS:
1. Points
2. Who had most Points in the Previous Round, then in every Previous Round back to Rd 1.
3. Who finished fastest in the Previous Round.
4. Who finished fastest in the Previous Round before that.
***. Players on a BYE in the previous Round would lose a Tie-Breaker if it goes to Finish Times in Previous Rounds.

ROUND DRAWS:
To determine each players opponents in each Round, After the Players on a BYE have been removed, It will be a RANDOM DRAW between the 'Top Half' and 'Bottom Half' of the remaining players on the Leaderboard.
In Round 1, the Highest Ranks will be in the TOP HALF of the Scoreboard for Draw Purposes.

KNOCKOUT PHASE

- When there are only only 32 SURVIVORS remaining, points are DISCARDED and............we enter the KO PHASE of the Tourney!
- If we move to the KO phase with less than 32 Players, Points will continue to decide who get's Byes in the following Round.
- Points accumulation will be 1 Point for a 1 Match Victory (3-2, 4-3, etc) and 2 Poins for a larger victory (4-1 or 5-0, 5-2 or 6-1 or 7-0, etc)

***The speed of this Tournament will Progress at the speed of the Many, not the few. If it becomes clear that there are a couple of games/players slowing down the progress of the Tournament. Organisers retain the right to predict the outcome of there remaining games to allow the next Round to progress. Predicted Scores will be final. 300 Players will not continuously await the outcome of 1 players games.

***Commentary is a standard part of all Survivor Series Tournaments. You will receive HIGHLIGHTS MAILS even after you have been KO'd from the Tournament. If you do not want them, do not enter.

Baltics SS: Rd 4 Review / Rd 5 Preview

Rd 4 Review
300 Players started this CAMPIAGN. Only 163 made it to Round 4, ONLY 140 Players remained standing on the field of battle after the Round was finished.
79 Match Ups took Place and that Produced 23 KO's. The number of MUGS left in the Tourney seems to be decreasing as we progress through the Survivor Rounds. That could possibly explain the DECREASING ELIMINATION RATE. But 156 Players PUMPED in 4 Rounds when only 1 Win is Required is HUGE in my opinion.

KICKED PLAYERS: 4
Round 1 Players CULLED: 57 (38% Match Up v Elimination)
Round 2 Players ELIMINATED: 48 (41% Match Up v Elimination)
Round 3 Players EJECTED: 28 (30% Match Up v Elimination)
Round 4 Players PUMPED: 23 (29% Match Up v Elimination)

It was also surprising where the KO's Came from. Every Round is TOP HALF of the LEADERBOARD versus BOTTOM HALF. In Round 4 14xTOP HALF Players KO's their opponent, but, 9 Players from the BOTTOM HALF managed to USURP players higher up the SCOREBOARD and PUMP THEM OUT of the Tournament. That's a 61%/39% Split between TOP and BOTTOM Half KO's! How does that compare..........

Round 1: 46v12 / 79%v21% (In Rd1 Table was split by Rank alone)
Round 2: 29v19 / 60%v40%
Round 3: 19v9 / 68%v32%
Round 4: 14v9 / 61%v39%

As we can see, the Players picking up the points and getting themselves into the TOP HALF of the Draw are KO'ing roughly 2/3rds of the Players. But, they can't rest easy, with roughly 1/3 of all KO's coming from BOTTOM HALF Players.........NOBODY is SAFE!

There was some HUGE KO's that Round. 2 BOUNTY's have been CLAIMED and the 1st Seed CRASHES out of the Tournament!

As predicted, MAP SPECIALIST FSA was more than capable of KO'ing the 1st Seed. And that is exactly what happened. 'Buster' was unlucky and got ZERO starts. Even worse, FSA carded in all 3 1st Turns and Buster failed to card in 1/3. It looked to be over by the end of Round 2 to be honest. Just a case of the 1st Seed getting unlucky. But with a Player with a pre-tournament Rank of 4000+ GETTING PUMPED, it blows the Tournament WIDE OPEN for the other 140 Players STILL FIGHTING. 'Buster' left reeling as he heads for the Exit Door, TILTING, he heads for The Super League ENTRY PAGE. FSA, already in the Super League marches proudly on to Round 5 of the Baltic Crusades SURVIVOR SERIES!

Both committed Super League Players, Anila8 being 'The Engine' of the Super League that makes it run faced off versus Noo-Noo. A close match Up on paper but it didn't pan out that way. As one of the Organisers of this Tournament, Anila8 also carried 100 Counquer Credit Bounty on his head and that's now been claimed. He only has himself to blame though. He got 1 Start out the 3 and although he failed to card, so did Noo-Noo. But alas, he could not see the start advantage through and lost it. He lost the other 2 too. So it's Noo-Noo who is 100 Counquer Credits richer with a General Achievement Medal to boot and in Round 5. 'The Engine' heads in for a Service!

'Gin & Tonic makes Him Super' SoN!c 2440 26thSeed 0 V 3 madmom 1848 147thSeed
This is a SHOCK RESULT! SoN!c another Tournament Organiser and the creator of the amazing Graphics in this Tournament was flying high in the TOP HALF of the Leaderboard. madmom was barely SURVIVING on 2 Points! It looks like madmom got a GIMME in one of the Games. A Start and SoN!c failed to card in response. She also got a start in the 2nd. But, THE SHOCK came in the 3rd where SoN!c got the START and madmom FAILED TO CARD in response. It's the dream start to a Baltics Game but SoNI!c managed to BLOW IT! madmom progresses and hopefully CHECKS IN for some SUPER LEAGUE Action, SoN!c PUMPED! Another Bounty and General Achievemt Medal BITES THE DUST!
