SINGLES TOURNAMENT
Tournament Specs:
>>each player will choose a football (soccer) club from europe's top 5 leagues (England. Spain, Italy, Germany, France) to represent. no 2 players can represent the same club.
>>27 players are needed for this tournament. players will be randomly assigned to 9 groups of three, winner of each group advancing to the knockout round (bracket). 3 games will be played within each group to determine who advances.
>>ALL games will be played on the Europe map and with sequential turns, BUT fortifications and cards are decided by each player for their "home" game in the group stage.
>>in the case of a tie in the group (each player in the group wins one of the 3 games), a tiebreaker game will take place and the fort/cards will be decided as the most popular combination chosen by the 27 players during the group round.
>>if a player in a group wins the first two games of the three, the last game will not be played as that person would be the group winner (subject to change)
>>in the knockout round, the 9 group winners are randomly placed into 3 games. it is do or die. a win gets you to the final 3. the fortifications and cards will be decided as the most popular combination in the group stage.
I also reserve the right to replace anyone in the tournament if they do not join a tournament game in a timely fashion. Therefore, non-premium members are encouraged to leave a slot open for these games
