Here is the scoring formula to be used in the NCAA tourney and the Final Four of the NIT. I've run this thing through a ton of tests and it's basically a best 2 of 3 to prevent one bad drop from sending a team home. But for the geeks like myself that want the inner workings, here's how it breaks down.


Big maps such as Feudal, Arms Race!, etc will have some special rules to keep the scoring within check...such as dividing all armies by 2 or not counting castle bonuses on Feudal or the 50-army bonus on Arms Race. In the unexpected case of a tie, the Classic Shapes map will be used as the overtime period.
