Back in the day, the United States and the Soviet Union had quite a history. First, they fought as allies in WWII, then, they turned their backs on each other in the Cold War. What I'm attempting to do is to create a tournament that will decide once and for all which country is the best.
The 32 players will be divided into 2 sections, the U.S. section and the Soviet section. Both sides will play single-elimination 1v1 matches against other players in their country until only 1 person remains on each side. Then, the champion from each side will duel it out in a best two-out-of-three arms race! The winner not only wins for himself, he wins for his country!
Note: This tournament is open to EVERYONE, not just people from the U.S. or Russia, so don't be deterred if you live somewhere else. Join!
Number of entrants: 32 (3 reserves)
all 1v1 games
Map: U.S.A. (section 1), Soviet Union (section 2), Arms Race (final)
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: Flat Rate
Fog: No for U.S.A and Soviet Union, yes for Arms Race.
When you sign up, please designate if you want to be in the U.S. camp or the Soviet camp.
Note to reserves: You cannot pick which side you will go on. You will be placed on the first open spot if you are needed.
3) Nailer X
3) Master of Rampag
EDIT: Arms Race will be FOGGY.
