Right now, we're playing in a game on First Nations Americas, which is a HUGE map. The likelihood of winning a game on that map in under 15 rounds is very unlikely. Just chalk this up to one of those "strength of schedule" things? Or can the preseason game results be reflected a little differently? Thanks!
That's a valid argument right there. I've actually been thinking about the preseason as well lately. Originally preseason games were going to count for nothing, but that would have been against tournament rules, so that's where I decided to make the PF/PA's count. What I'm going to do is this: Any wins/losses/PF/PA scored during preseason will be tallied up, but only be brought in and used to break ties for the actual season games. So at the start of Week 1, the score boards will be clean of all points anywhere, and the preseason scoreboard will be kept as a backup in case of tiebreak.
good call. The whole point in the preseason is for teams to get used to each other, etc. Kuma and I have never played together so I've found the preseason games quite helpful.
UPDATE: - STILL NEED 2 players to fill in for an empty team! ALSO: Any team that wishes to change your maps and settings before the regular season starts, need to PM me their changes BY THIS THURSDAY, September 8th, at Noon Central Standard Time US. Maps and settings will not be changed for any reason after regular season starts, except for teams that have one or both players replaced.
Just serving notice here that the Seattle Seahawks in this league in no way resemble the actual Seattle Seahawks. We're 1 and 0 with another win almost in the books.
I was informed Willy left the site completely. I'm giving his partner another day or so to find a replacement, or Ill find one for him I don't particularly like needing to call a game as a forfeit, because it only gives 7 points to and away from the teams, when it could be much more. Plus, we have many more weeks ahead, and the game can get caught up soon enough

The tournament will follow the 2011 NFL Schedule, byes and all. 4 Weeks of Preseason Included. Preseason Schedule HERE Regular Season Schedule HERE Wildcard Round TBD Playoffs TBD Superbowl (4 games/quarters, Alternating home map per quarter. Points For system will be used on all 4 games *See below) *(NOTE: Around the Christmas holidays, some weeks may be sent out early, some may be sent late to give us all a break!)
EDIT 8/29/11: RULES CHANGE: Preseason Wins/Losses/PFs/PAs will be kept as a tiebreaker at the end of Week 17. If there is a divisional tie after the regular season and PF/PA from regular season do not break the tie, we will go to preseason wins/losses, and then preseason PF/PAs.
RULES: One game will be assigned per NFL week. Free accounts welcome, be sure to keep at least 1 spot open. Keep in mind, games could last longer than a week, so you may need more spots.
Game Invites MUST be accepted within 48 hours. Failure to join game in that time will count as a forfeit for that match. A 2nd missed invite will drop that team and a reserve team will step in. (They will get to re-choose a map and options) Forfeit PF/PA will count as 8 points.
SET GAME CHOICE RULES: Matches will be Doubles 2v2. Each team must have a diff. map. NO speed games OR freestyling. UPDATE: 8/12/11 - Just now noticed that I missed two teams having the same map. Since this was my mistake, and they have different settings, I will allow both teams to keep what they chose.
- Ties in Divisions will be broken by the Points For/Points Against system. Points For are earned by how many rounds it takes your team to beat the other in a game, Points Against are points scored by other teams against you.
I agree.... it would be nice to have them posted once in a while as they finish, not once the entire week of games is over. We have finished 4 games but only have 1 posted. Thanks.
