Yikes didn't realize the away team could play the same guy on the same map twice....lol that makes our strategy pretty dumb.

There is no strategy that can defeat awesomeness. This is not your fault. ;)

Why is Goranz playing both Das Schloss sets? That's against the rule.

Each clan may use the same map only twice in its home set and may not use Classic more than once (since it will also be used for the 41st game). If a map is repeated within the rules the players must be different in each series. Random can be used and does not count toward map totals.

No, you must have different players on the same map for HOME teams. Away teams can reuse players for a map. This has been clarified several times in the main tournament thread, and is consistent with the original 1 vs 1 clan event rules.

It would have helped, had the rule been rewritten properly then. We put double DS with the understanding that it could be only one player per map. But oh well then.

It wasn't rewritten at all, it was the same rule as the first tournament last year. It was asked a few times throughout the main area thread whether it only pertained to home sets (as its written).

I'm sorry there was confusion within MD about the rule, I'll be happy to consider any suggestions for wording next year to clarify.
