That may be true, but with a price increase, the game loading wouldn't really save anyone much money. I would not offer anything below 3 months. I may try something like:
- 3 months for $10
- 6 months for $18
- 12 months for $30
- 24 months for $50
- 5 years for $100
A little price increase for the normal year, but I think that's reasonable after more than 6 years. Not only that, the smaller chunks should bring more money.
I think if you increased the first two on the list to $12.50 and $20.00 that would pretty much eliminate the advantage of loading up on games after the three month or six month premium expires.
The real problem with the lower length of times and rates would be the cost. Credit cards cost the merchant money to process. They usually pay a percentage of the amount being paid and a transaction fee. Being on the internet the fees are probably higher because there is more fraud. Also if the payments go to another country there are probably fees for currency conversion.
