This one will be a doubles tournament, for 16 teams (32 players)... And a very juicy one!
How to apply Freemius are wellcome, but need to keep 2 slots open In order to register, you need to state your team (you and your partner), your fruit (see below) and what is your home map. Individual players may register, but need to state their home map and fruit, or choose the home map and fruit that other individual players may have already chosen.
Game specs: Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Foggy, No Trench, 20 Rounds limit
Tournament format
Groups stage The 16 teams (fruits) will be divided in 4 groups as folows:
Classic Fruits Apple Pear Peach Grape
Vitamin C Orange Kiwi Lemon Pineapple
Red Fruits Strawberry Cherry Raspberry Cranberry
Exotic Fruits Mango Passion Fruit Papaya Coconut
There will be first a "fruit salad" 8 player game in each group, played in Age of Merchants map. The team which wins, will play all games home, the last to be eliminated plays two games home and the second to be eliminated plays one game home.
A win means 1 point, the two teams with most points proceed to the next stage. In case of ties, the tiebreakers are: 1st - Away wins (the teams are placed such that those with most away wins are on top of the others); 2nd - Home defeats (the teams are placed such that those with less home defeats are on top of the others); 3rd - Rounds to win (the teams which needed less rounds to win their games are on top of the others) 4th - Rounds to lose (the teams which took most rounds to lose their games are on top of the others) 5th - Tie-break game in Age of Merchants map.

Quarter-Finals
First placed teams will play second placed teams: Match 1: 1st Classic Fruits vs 2nd Red Fruits Match 2: 1st Vitamin C vs 2nd Exotic Fruits Match 3: 1st Red Fruits vs 2nd Classic Fruits Match 4: 1st Exotic Fruits vs 2nd Vitamin C
First and third games (if needed) of each match are at the home of the first placed team and the second is at the home of the second placed team.
Semi-finals Winner of Match 1 vs winner of Match 2 Winner of Match 3 vs winner of Match 4
First and third games (if needed) of each match are at the home of the team which qualified in a higher place in the groups stage, or in case of tie (i.e. 1st vs 1st or 2nd vs 2nd) the following tiebreakers apply: 1st - Team with more points in the group stage; 2nd - Team with higher victory-defeat difference; 3rd - Away wins 4th - Home defeats 5th - Rounds to win 6th - Rounds to lose
Final
Winners of the semifinals will play the final. Rules are the same as the Semi-finals
The team that wins the final, wins the tournament!
