So whenever you play a tournament with 8 free for all battles its mere luck who you get stuck with. so i figured why not reduce how much impact this has on the winner. So in this tournament there will be groups of 10 who will play in every combination of 8 players.

10!/((10-8)!*8!) = 45
so in each 8 man game, the winner gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 3, and 3rd gets 1.
after all 45 games are done whoever has the most points wins that group.
the way ive decided to separate the groups is by map, other options are the same.

also this means there will be 3 groups of 10
so once we have the winners for the 3 groups they will play in the final rounds. each round will consist of one of each map with the same settings (except 3 man instead of 8 man) and the winner is the person to be the first to have a win in all 3. the wins dont have to be in the same round.
now you do have to be premium to join because im making ALL the combination matches in one go, so with 3 groups and 45 games each thats a whopping 135 games at the same time.
now because of this i am going with my old system of making the winner (and in this case 2nd and 3rd place too) report wins so i can update constantly. especially since AP tests are coming along soon. there will be no penalty for not reporting, but i wont include those games in my updates to the thread.
