krusher - scheduled for reset!

Let's start with a little background on our inmate krusher...
He started playing Conquer Club on Christmas Day back in '06, and most likely had big dreams of achieving the #1 rank, not unlike many of our CC'ers. However, after playing for several months and realizing he couldn't reach his dream of becoming a Conqueror honestly, he turned to cheating, extortion, and manipulation in order to continue his rise up the scoreboard.

The Hunters have had suspicions about krusher for quite some time now, but with no concrete evidence and no witnesses, were unable to act on their instincts and punish him. But alas, there has been a breakthrough in the krusher investigation recently!
The krusher file

Krusher has been sitting in his cell on Death Row for the last week, shouting cries of anguish that could be heard all throughout the prison.

It dosent matter what I say its what ever the mods decide m8.... what would be the point of me saying I'm innocent if you already comdemened me as a cheater long before and would just assume that I'm lieng, so it makes no difference every one already made up there own opinion I cant prove the truth 100% and neither can the people who are accusing me so its a battle of opinions.

I havent started any new games because I'm waiting for my little mess to be resolved no point in playing right now if I might be banned tommorow....

I know what you mean SkyT, but I personaly like the atention and its funny seeing all the hate, you see I'm 16 year old kid (turning 17 this wednesday nov 21st) with nothing to do after school so for me this is a blast seeing these idiots wasting there times trying to f*ck with me while I'm actually fucking with them lol...

His known accomplices BlackIrish and JesusReigns, who were residing in Cell Block B, just shrugged and shook their heads.

Slowly, the judement day arrives for krusher. As was observed in the courtroom on 11/19/07 in the case of CC v. krusher, the honorable Mod Squad deliberated on if/how krusher should be punished for his actions. Both sides presented their case, although krusher refused legal representation and continued his drunken ramblings much to the dismay of the jury. There were several surprise witnesses for the plaintiff, including poo maker, comic boy, and codeblue1018. After 72 hours of discussion, the jury (AKA Hunters) reached a verdict...


BlackIrish & JesusReigns; you have been found GUILTY of secret alliances. You will recieve a slap on the wrist, a warning, and a block from playing with krusher again.


Krusher; you have been found GUILTY of secret alliances. Your punishment includes being stripped of your premium membership, a block from playing with BlackIrish or JesusReigns again, and.... a score reset.

This is by no means an official statement. I'm sure the Mod Squad and/or Hunters will announce their decision when they're ready.

Yes it is with my sincere apologies to the conquerclub community for helping him cheat. I hope you all forgive me, as it was wrong. Once again sorry for this mistake.

The fact is krusher can be a concievably great guy when he wants to be (once you look past his flaws and whatnot but we all have them so its not that difficult)

JR had partnered with krusher and appearantly learned alot about freestyling from him so felt a debt of gratitude to the guy. Turned out that even tho this debt wasnt official, Krusher found it appropriate to ask JR on msn to make moves that put krusher in a situation to begin wiping players out and inevitably winning the game. It was a bitter sweet story for me as codeblue1018 was among the players defeated by krusher's neat little sham. That said I wouldnt wish such a loss on anyone, I think players come here for a much better experience than the ones recieved by krusher's opponents in said game.

As disgusting as the act to ask for help on msn which is the same as a secret alliance, Krusher alienated JR for comming forward and telling the truth after helping. It didnt take long for JR to realize the issues the other players had with his move.

JR is fully aware that its wrong and I have to think Krusher may have convinced him it would be "some kind of joke" or a "funny way to end the game" but in the end when everyone began pointing out the stupidity of JR's play, Krusher quickly sold him under the buss claiming to not know anything about why JR would make stupid moves. JR told everyone he was over-excited and was making irrational moves.

JR quickly (because of his beliefs which by the way was krusher's main reason for disowning any connection to JR) came forward after realizing how serious it was. Determined to bite the bullet, this guy told the mods exactly what they needed to know. He didnt sugar coat his actions with fancy posts, he didnt plead ignorance and didnt stick with the story of not knowing what he was doing. In a freestyle game such as the one played it would be difficult to prove such cooperation without questionable doubt. JR could have kept quiet throughout the accusations, taken neg feedbacks and cursed at everyone saying: "so what, you guys cant prove anything your prejudging me telling me I'm guilty so I wont defend myself" (sound familiar?)

Because of the effectiveness and ease with which the blame of cheating could have been thrown aside, Krusher got pissed at JR for going public with the action. I teach many a player on this game and very often they are thankful and want to play games together and test strategies and whatnot but I make sure they know that when I play them, I am playing to win and I do not expect them to return any favors to me. Krusher did a great thing in showing how to play freestyle, perfect but adapting this "if i'm going down your going down with me" attitude just casts a very poor light on the guy.


All in all JR sincerely regrets giving krusher the game as he did, he realizes that other players had the same stake he and krusher did, unlike for krusher, the mere number of points given to krusher in the game didnt appease JR's conscience. Krusher made it clear to me he felt justified because he didnt even get 100 points from the game. But thats a whole new topic.

Spare the rod, spoil the child. JR doesnt expect to get off scott free, he knows what to expect in terms of being blocked from certain players and he is not one to snipe about the actions taken by mods.

I am openly backing JR on this because I think he's handling this situation the best he can, ideally he could have asked krusher to shove it when krusher asked for the game, however for whatever reason (probably a debt of gratitude) he did what krusher asked and so he did something wrong, he came forward with it however, didnt try to hide it after and was as cooperative as could be. For this reason I would play JR any day of the week. Some people try to get out of their responsabilities, they use snide and questionable statements and tactics to get out on technicalities. These players in the game (like in life) are easy to spot. They are looked upon with a worse light than one who commits a wrong and owns up to it.
