barterer2002's Alien Invasion**OPENED FOR PREMIUM ONLY**This Tournament will hold 64 players DescriptionThe Earth is being invaded by an alien race. The battle starts all over as the ships attack everywhere on the earth. You have to fight for the very survival of humanity. Not all will survive this battle. You cannot communcate with others because the aliens have knocked out the communications so we're back to what you can see-fog of war rules apply.
Game Play Round 1Resistance is scattered and mostly run by various national miliaries. There seems to be about 4 areas of high concentration with Europe being hit hard. You will end up playing each of the other players in your region during this round.
Here are the allies in your regions:
Region 1-The European colonizers (16 players-4 player games)
British Isles, France, Iberia and Portugal are being hammered at. You must play 4 games to drive back the alien invaders. Second place is death and there is no going on from there. The top four winners of the most games of these four goes on. In the case of a tie there will be a tiebreaking game played on Scotland-where the colonlizers retreat to make their last stand if necessary.
Region 2-The Axis (16 players-4 player games)
BeNeLux, Germany, Italy and Malta. Another ship has launched attack fighters at these nations and its up the the resistance to drive them back. You have to win to survive so the winner of the most games moves on. In the case of a tie the fall back place is Berlin 1961 where the resistence must survive or die trying.
Region 3-North America (16 players-4 player games)
Canada, USA, Great Lakes, Caribbean. The North American region is being hit by another ship and the resistance must fight off the green and blue skinned invaders. The fall back position is the home of Star Fleet-San Francisco.
Region 4-Southern Hemisphere/Asia (16 players-4 player games)
Brazil, Hong Kong, Philippines, Australia. Fighting is a little sparcer but no less fierce in other parts of the globe as the invaders attempt to gain a foothold. If we tie, we'll fall back to Cairns Coral Coast to fight to the end.
Round 2. (16 players-4 regions-4 player games)
Congratulations you've succeeded in pushing the invaders back a bit and linking up with other resistance groups. The invaders have been pushed entirely out of Europe and we're fighting on a continental level.
Region1-The survivors of the colonial Europeans have driven the invaders into Africa where they will fight and some more will fall by the wayside. The is a one game winner moves on round.
Region2-The Axis has driven the invaders westward into Asia and are pursuing them to drive them off the planet. One game to move on.
Region3-The Rebel units in North America have linked up but haven't yet driven the invaders off the continent and will have to play the North American Map to push them off.
Region4-In the south, the invaders are trying to regroup. They've determined that the pacific has just too much ocean for them and are regrouping in South America where the resistance must meet to push them back.
ROUND 3 (4 players-3 games)
You're winning the battle but it isn't over yet. You have to drive the invaders back. Off the earth (World 2.1) and into Space (Space) and even out of the Solar System (Solar system). Should there be a tie there will be a playoff on the Classic map to determine the Savior of Humanity.
WinningWin two games in Round 3.
