2007-11-04 06:33:05 - kclborat: yes, he had nothing protected. however, his new armies that he was going to get were probably going to go for me. he hasn't denied that, so it seems like a possibility at least. it's what i would have probably done. red was a future choice.
2007-11-04 06:34:28 - kclborat: and so your reaction to this situation which didn't affect you at all was to build up armies and then suicide on me. cute. and who the hell proposes a truce in the 5th round to take out a player? btw, i am not angry you took me out, i've been expecting to
2007-11-04 06:34:53 - kclborat: be out of this game for the last 5 or 6 rounds. your comments have been infuriating though.
2007-11-04 07:19:03 - Levet: and you're probably gonna leave negative feedback on me because I infuriated you. I just didn't feel like your strategy was honorable at all. A proposal truce isn't the same as a complete gang-up. It was just so I could either get myself out,
2007-11-04 07:20:51 - Levet: or get red out. He originally got on my nerves for moving all his forces into Rohan. Then you started blasting all over me for the proposal, so I neutralized my plans against anybody, and decided to go after the next one to get on my nerves.
2007-11-04 07:20:58 - Levet: Sorry if my strategy doesn't fit your plans.
2007-11-04 18:43:04 - kclborat: so you base your strategy on who annoys you the most? brilliant. how was mine not honorable? should we never attack weak players? blue was never in my sphere of influence, I couldn't have reached him. thatts not dishonrable, its a choice.
2007-11-04 18:51:05 - loopinvariant: Yellow - I'm not going to turn against you now that green is gone, my having made a truce with Blue (one sided) certainly unbalances things. The game is between you and Blue, I am going to just place my pieces around but not go on the offensive because..
2007-11-04 18:52:23 - loopinvariant: I'm not going to reneg on my promises, and I'm not going to go against you and make it completely unfair in that way.
2007-11-04 18:53:44 - loopinvariant: And yellow - thanks for the moral support, its good to see other people with scruples. Green never understood what you were saying unfortunately.
2007-11-04 19:16:16 - kclborat: haha i understood perfectly. i just disagree. tell me, did it ever seem a possibility for you to use those armies gained from your continent on me? if it truly wasn't, then I am sorry for attacking you. However, I would probably have used those new armies
2007-11-04 19:17:37 - kclborat: to attack another player that wasn't blue because blue's continents were all gone. And both you and yellow have talked about favors in the past
2007-11-04 19:19:04 - loopinvariant: Green you are so far gone into your own self-centered world there is no use in attempting to talk to you.
2007-11-04 19:19:10 - kclborat: you mentioned stretching yourself out to help out. well, you were left with ones. that's not a viable strategy. i guess we could thank you for spending all of your amies on blue, but as a strategy it wasn't the strongest
2007-11-04 19:19:15 - kclborat: hahah
2007-11-04 19:20:55 - kclborat: ok, during this game i focus on how others' actions will influence me and attempt to figure out what others will do. you still have refused to answer my question. would you have used those armies on me if I hadn't broken your continent?
2007-11-04 19:25:27 - kclborat: and why don't you answer my arguments rather than throw up your hands in despair? trust me, i am willing to listen to reason and if it is good enough, i will apologize and admit that you were all right. however, no one is bothering to respond beyond
2007-11-04 19:26:33 - kclborat: general attacks on my sense of morality. all I've been hearing is my own voice and that's not going to change my mind.
2007-11-04 19:27:26 - kclborat: yellow has given some reasons, but his seem to focus on his mood.
2007-11-04 19:29:39 - kclborat: blue, any thoughts? its obvious that this struggle has aided your win
2007-11-05 05:27:12 - Levet: Green, in that instance, I would have blockaded myself. If he attacked my defenses, I would retaliate, and ask for support from other players. I have an ideal that ultimately, there will be a game where everyone lives in harmony, and it basically goes
2007-11-05 05:28:09 - Levet: on forever. I don't believe in wiping people out because I *think* they're going to attack me. I don't mind taking some of their territories, as I give them the option of taking the territories that I'm uninterested in (and I try not to be stingy about
2007-11-05 05:29:25 - Levet: it). Ultimately, I believe in giving everyone a chance. If I had the opportunity to wipe someone out on the first turn, I would take the territories that I needed, and back off the ones that my opponent would need. It's a rotten strategy to you, but
2007-11-05 05:29:58 - Levet: that's honor. Something you don't seem to grasp. If you've ever played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, you'd fit the sith description to the letter.
2007-11-05 05:32:22 - Levet: I basically try to balance everything. Since blue looks like he's for the most part been reasonable (keeping his fortifications limited to the boundaries of his continents), I'm not sad to lose to him.
2007-11-05 05:34:29 - Levet: This is how I want to see this game played... politics. :)
2007-11-05 07:12:21 - kclborat: ok. so heres what i see. you don't take many of their territories because you feel bad for them? you don't want to take them out to benefit yourself in a WAR GAME. instead, you'd prefer that we all had our continents and no one did any serious damage
2007-11-05 07:13:20 - kclborat: to anyone else. i absolutely agree with the concept of balance, that is key in games like this, to not let one player get too strong. And so i respect what red did, to take a lot of blue territories. but it left him with ones everywhere!
2007-11-05 07:15:29 - kclborat: that is not a good strategy to keep you in the game. your ideals are beautiful and touching, but this is not anywhere near real world. i am against war and believe your ideals to be a fit goal for today's world, but remember. this is a game.
2007-11-05 07:18:11 - kclborat: a game whose goal is to take other players out of the game and have yourself be the final player left. its true, i would have probably protected myself, but then, from an opponent's point of view, he will become stronger and have the chance to attack me
2007-11-05 07:20:48 - kclborat: in the future. looking ahead is key. by not seeing future strategy, you will lose. to me, anything you do that weakens your opponents and doesn't weaken you too much is a good move. you all have called me self-centered, immoral, sith lord and other
2007-11-05 07:21:47 - kclborat: similar things, but what you do not seem to understand is that this is a game. i am supposed to make you weak. i am supposed to make you lose. i am supposed to attack you!
2007-11-05 07:25:43 - kclborat: get off your high horse and play rather than spout inaplicable moralistic tripe which makes me question either how you manage to win or the validity of what you say
2007-11-05 07:26:54 - kclborat: but i do have to say i am amazed and rather glad you used a star wars reference
2007-11-05 09:00:41 - Levet: I respectfully disagree. I agree that YOUR objective is to do harm to your enemy if it does you good, but it's not the same objective as mine. Even in a game, the end result doesn't have to be what any one person wants it to be. Inevitably, it can end
2007-11-05 09:01:51 - Levet: in perfect harmony. Perfect balance. A game reflects your inner self in many ways. It may not be what you'd do on a global scale, but in the immediate setting, if you feel it won't affect too much, you'd obviously step on your peers to get above them.
2007-11-05 09:04:03 - Levet: In my view, if I lift up the weakest of the bunch, the worst that could happen is that either everyone benefits, or I lose. Yes, that makes me lose a lot more often, but I gain friends. And friends are always better than a higher winning ratio in a game
2007-11-05 18:30:00 - kclborat: these people you meet here are not your friends. you will never meet them in real life. they will never help you through a tough time. and you cannot seem to understand that this game is not equivocable with real life. people adapt to their situations
2007-11-05 18:31:34 - kclborat: whether it be a game whose objective is to win, or life, whose objective is dynamic and unseen. i, unlike you, do not live my life how I play cc.
2007-11-05 19:13:26 - autoload: Yellow, you are a fruit loop.
2007-11-06 00:22:48 - Chirondom: I concur.
2007-11-06 03:18:59 - misterman10: yellow is a poop
2007-11-06 03:26:16 - muy_thaiguy: Equal Oppertunist says: I Hate everyone and everything equally.
2007-11-06 17:08:34 - Levet: you might not know that you do, but yes, you do.
2007-11-06 17:08:53 - Levet: as for your little friends that you invited to goad me, they can all shove it
2007-11-06 22:48:21 - kclborat: these people are from the forum. i don't know them. i thought you wanted harmony? shoving it isn't any sort of way to make friends
2007-11-07 06:02:17 - autoload: I agree with kcl. And misterman10 made me laugh!
2007-11-07 18:36:35 - Levet: I don't need friends from people that will call me fruit loop, poop, and whatever else without even knowing me. So yes, they can shove it and I won't lose any sleep over it. When the world is rid of people that don't have a preconception of another
2007-11-07 18:37:35 - Levet: person, the world will be a better place. Screw you if you don't like my ideas. I don't need anyone antagonizing me and then telling me, then telling me I'm supposed to take it. I won't.
2007-11-08 23:27:59 - kclborat: yeah, you sure are gonna find some true friends on this site. they'll know a whole lot more about you than whatever you decide to post in the game chat.
