Slots Per Player
Fog of War
In Quadruples games, four players team up against other teams. The last team alive wins.
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops.
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams.
There are no 'spoils' in this game.
At the end of your turn you can reinforce once from one region to another (they must be connected by regions that you own).
Fog of War
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn.
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play.
350 Territories, 49 Continents, 6 Start Positions, Min Reinforcements: 3

2012-12-18 00:07:20 - maximilianfriend: i wish you a slow and painful defeat

2012-12-21 14:46:15 - nibotha: 2012-12-21 16:44:15 - nibotha [team]: they attack when their dice stats are bad and increase their odds of better dice in this 1 (yes I know dice are independent of each other in real life but not on this site) - this explains the time lapse between their
2012-12-21 14:46:29 - nibotha: 2012-12-20 10:22:13 - erv [team]: no dice should allow them to do what they are doing. they are essentially attacking 4v3 and constantly winning it with 2 left over.
2012-12-21 14:46:35 - nibotha: 2012-12-21 16:44:28 - nibotha [team]: all 4 of these players should be FOED!
2012-12-21 14:47:17 - nibotha: gg
2012-12-21 14:47:28 - nibotha: lame way to win but ---> whatever.
2012-12-21 15:13:11 - bamage: if you feel like sharing it, i'm curious about the rest of this post "this explains the time lapse between their..."
2012-12-22 18:25:47 - Hamanu: You nailed me nibotha. I hold a PhD in combinatorial statistics theory and my grandfather was a witch doctor. All your bases are belong to us!
2012-12-22 19:43:19 - maximilianfriend: well that explains a lot
2012-12-25 06:56:10 - nibotha: slickstick for nibotha till the 10th January 2013
2012-12-27 22:31:29 - nibotha: bamage=the last word was turns lol
2012-12-28 14:06:28 - bamage: ah, got it, thanks
2013-01-04 22:52:07 - erv: probably my last play here that could have potentially mattered
2013-01-06 23:08:00 - Hamanu: Actually no. You lost this the moment we got one of your team under 36 terrs. A tip for your future hive games: Don't go for bonuses, pick one opponent on the opposing team and hammer him continuously, as you've seen us do here.
2013-01-06 23:08:42 - Hamanu: This map is, pretty much a race to bring opponent's terr count down. Bonuses are exactly that: a bonus :)
2013-01-07 00:41:59 - erv: omg none of us have ever gone for the player elimination before on hive (or other maps). there are different ways to play this map. its like rocks paper scissors.
2013-01-07 00:42:37 - erv: sometimes what you pick works, sometimes it doesnt. sometimes dice helps you, sometimes not. just one of these games where a number of things went against us. gl in the rest of the tourney
2013-01-08 23:47:24 - bamage: thanks erv!
2013-01-10 13:23:07 - nibotha: slickstick for nibotha
