2006-12-27 19:12:08 - qeee1: Ah, didn't you see spring retook Kassander?
2006-12-28 23:39:57 - spring1: MeDeFe...I bet you're feelin' pretty powerful over there with no one attackin' you, eh? ;-) (Strong action to follow,,,) lol
2006-12-29 07:55:52 - MeDeFe: nah, not really, I'd be feeling powerful if I held 3 (or at least most of 3) continents
2006-12-29 14:28:45 - qeee1: I dunno if you guys are trying to goad me into attacking one of you but it's not gonna work. Whatever about who's the strongest... I'm the weakest.
2006-12-29 14:41:56 - dividedbyzero: I double dog dare you to attack me, qeee. :)
2006-12-29 17:16:54 - spring1: You know...it would be so much easier for me to win if you two would just spread yourselves thin already! ;P
2007-01-01 17:40:11 - qeee1: sorry about the missed turn guys, new years and all
2007-01-01 21:09:31 - spring1: Excuses, excuses! ;)
2007-01-02 15:08:10 - spring1: qeee...if you would be so kind as to move those pesky, hermaphrodite, pink troops outta the Aegean Sea, I can get my guys out of there...or you can leave them there...up to you! ;-)
2007-01-06 00:25:56 - MeDeFe: no auto attack? Don't you get bored? You were going to go for that coutnry anyway, weren't you?
2007-01-06 00:26:24 - qeee1: nope, I'm afraid of auto attack
2007-01-06 00:26:54 - qeee1: Although when I saw I lost ten troops in the first 5 rolls and killed none I almost stopped.
2007-01-06 00:27:33 - qeee1: I was only gonna take the territory provided I had enough to defend it with. Auto attack would have took it even had I very few troops left.
2007-01-07 18:55:56 - qeee1: I have no idea what you're doing constantly attacking me spring, when MeDe has the most armies, break the continent if you want...
2007-01-07 23:43:15 - spring1: Gotta get a card somewhere, Qeee....neither you nor MeDeFe are being entirely cooperative! ;-)
2007-01-08 15:10:13 - qeee1: Then why did you block up caspian sea last turn eh? ;-)
2007-01-08 18:05:24 - spring1: At the beginning of that particular turn, the only two places that I could possibly attack were: Mesopotamia or Upper Media...
2007-01-08 18:07:18 - spring1: Upper Media had less armies than Meso, so I attacked...I got cremated...(never again will I use Auto-Attack coincidentally!).....I was so low on troops, I fortified EVERYWHERE...the best I could...Enough of an explanation for you? lol
2007-01-08 18:08:54 - spring1: Now...if you are in a position to make things a bit easier...you could capture Caspian next turn and provide me an out...if not, well...then expect the obviously by now anticipated! :-)
2007-01-11 00:40:40 - spring1: Hey, Qeeemaster, why not take Lydia and break the Antigonus bonus? Not necessarily a huge deal...just curious! ;)
2007-01-11 09:04:11 - MeDeFe: for the sake of balance I guess.
2007-01-11 15:03:48 - spring1: hmmm...MeDeFe: 176 armies...is getting 16 per turn...Qeee1: 131 armies...is getting 8 per turn...Spring1: 118 armies...is getting 14-15 per turn...
2007-01-11 15:04:53 - spring1: Don't misunderstand...this is a very intriguing game to me! I'm absolutely enjoying it, not bitching, if that's the way I'm coming across, I apologize...you two are simply forcing me to try to think several moves ahead...that means using my brain...ouch!
2007-01-11 16:24:57 - qeee1: this is why I hate being in the middle, everyone wants me to break the other player. We'll see what happens the next move...
2007-01-11 16:27:28 - qeee1: things never go quite how you want them to...
2007-01-11 18:14:29 - spring1: Nahhh...I don't want you to do anything, but try and win the game however you see fit! It was just an inquiry on my part. People usually don't get to their respective rank/point lvl without not knowing what they are doing! ;-)
2007-01-11 18:16:05 - spring1: I was rereading my last three posts...I don't think I'm being quite clear enough...
2007-01-11 18:16:37 - spring1: You both are very good players...that reason alone keeps me from seriously questioning your tactical ability...
2007-01-11 18:18:06 - spring1: It does, however, force me to try put myself in those players shoes! I'm having a little bit of difficulty trying to realize exactly what each of you is trying to do down the road...
2007-01-11 18:20:10 - spring1: This is not due to the fact that you simply don't know "how" to play...it's more or less an indictment of how WELL you each play. Did that make sense?
2007-01-12 13:31:59 - qeee1: K, I have a confession to make, I rushed my last few turns and never even realised mede held a continent bonus. There is a slight tactical justification to letting him hold it, but it wasn't actually my intention, nor was it the most advisable move.
2007-01-12 13:33:03 - qeee1: Guilted me into it, damn you. I'm a good player yes, and I'd hope my moves make you think... but I do also make mistakes... though not many. BTW Good game so far guys.
2007-01-13 11:03:30 - tals: Just an opinion but I think players are playing too reserved - you can store troops up like this
2007-01-13 11:04:00 - tals: but ultimately an attacker (I believe) has an advantage with 3 dice - so i'm surprised more attacks to reduce down armies are not being done
2007-01-13 11:04:32 - tals: Just an opinion mind :)
2007-01-14 03:03:09 - qeee1: You're right in general tals, but in a position like was previously, attacking generally wasn't advantageous.
2007-01-14 03:04:38 - qeee1: Also those were freaking terrible rolls, down about 20 armies. plus these games are so close when you're trying to force a win you really don't get many positions where you can be in a winning position allowing for bad luck.
2007-01-14 03:05:04 - qeee1: When you see a slight chance of winning the game you take it.
2007-01-14 03:08:36 - qeee1: SPRING? CRAZY MOVE!
2007-01-14 03:09:07 - spring1: yeah, I know...liquor enables one to take otherwise foolish risks! lol
2007-01-14 03:09:55 - spring1: boing! boing! boing! haha! ;-)
2007-01-14 03:37:46 - qeee1: sigh... this was such a good game and all.
2007-01-14 03:40:39 - qeee1: ah who cares, have fun spring. ;-)
2007-01-14 21:11:32 - tals: i'm still not convinced you guys are playing risk :) You sure this isn't a variant on "don't attack me" and teh winner is the person who holds off attacking
2007-01-14 21:11:49 - tals: or perhaps its monopoly and i've forgotten the rules :)
2007-01-14 21:12:06 - tals: Either way its fun - but it isn't risk
2007-01-17 11:41:22 - MeDeFe: 3 of my last 4 cash-ins were all red, can that be normal?
2007-01-17 14:28:28 - qeee1: I'm getting bored of this game...
2007-01-17 18:59:15 - qeee1: well I played that one reckless, but got decent dice so it paid off. gg guys.
2007-01-17 19:52:10 - tals: well done Quee - nice play, incredibly conservative game - I doubt you will ever see me in such a game :)
