2007-04-23 13:16:26 - ZawBanjito: Come on egatlas! Neither of us will recover from such a blow!
2007-04-23 20:57:49 - egatlas: then why did you
2007-04-23 20:57:59 - egatlas: initiated it?
2007-04-24 07:28:02 - ZawBanjito: Initiate what? I took the continent because you were building up in there. I left you yours and you blew everything you had to take me out.
2007-04-24 07:28:36 - ZawBanjito: Now I'm going to take a continent back and you'll be sandwiched in the same position that served Semp so well.
2007-04-24 07:32:04 - ZawBanjito: You blew 50 rounds of patient build up to deny me three extra troops. Who initiated what now?!
2007-04-24 14:18:11 - Selin: you attacked him and he attacked back, so simple :)
2007-04-25 11:27:40 - ZawBanjito: The hell I did. The troops I had I could've taken him out at any time, but I left him his continent. He suicided against me on a whim. Oh well! He got what he wanted, and we're both screwed now.
2007-04-26 13:05:06 - ZawBanjito: Alright, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring the tone down... I just felt bad about all the lost work.
2007-04-29 03:19:12 - ZawBanjito: Har har, now, that's just spiteful, egatlas.
2007-05-27 13:37:28 - poguemahone: good game, egatlas.
2007-05-27 16:36:15 - egatlas: finally thanks pogue
2007-06-11 13:08:30 - ZawBanjito: I ain't particularly interested in tustling any, pogue.
2007-06-14 02:01:45 - Mepps: I will be missing a few days. Incandenza has agreed to take my turns in my absence.
2007-06-24 02:08:22 - Mepps: I'm back
2007-06-26 14:20:03 - ZawBanjito: Ugh.
2007-06-27 22:55:10 - Selin: i like sandwichs, as long as i'm not in the middle :))
2007-06-28 22:23:03 - Mepps: Selin, can you explain why you keep attacking me late in games, giving the games to someone else?
2007-06-28 22:24:32 - Mepps: I reference games this game, 243408 (where you were not sandwiched), 265081, and in 243409 (where Evil Semp and I were combined victims)
2007-06-28 22:25:33 - Mepps: I can understand if you do it to give you a chance to win but in these games, you did it without giving yourself a chance to win. It seems very unfair for you to pick the winners of these games and consistently pick the same winner.
2007-06-29 18:09:48 - Selin: 243411 (this game): I had no chance (=0) to win, if I kept the situation 2 turns ago. This way I might have a chance. (actually all of us have a chance).Zaw has most armies, and gets 9 each turn, but the rest (you and me in total) have more and get more.
2007-06-29 18:10:52 - Selin: That means, unless somebody makes a crucial mistake, the game is balanced somehow.
2007-06-29 18:13:23 - Selin: 243408: I explained that in the game chat. You were clearly winning. To have a chance, first Zaw, than me attacked you. I had more than 100 armies after my attack having middle east region. It was a wrong decision of you to take back middle east.
2007-06-29 18:15:12 - Selin: You lost also many armies by doing so and weakened yourself so much that pogue could easiliy attack you. The rest was more interesting, because any of you both could have had a chance only if you both concentrated on Zaw at that moment, but you and pogue
2007-06-29 18:16:38 - Selin: continued to attack each other (meaningless) and gave Zaw an easy win.
2007-06-29 18:24:20 - Selin: 265081: Probably you are kidding regarding this game. I attacked whole game long only Zaw, first to keep southeast coast, than deployed in tripoli, until you eliminated me. I attacked you only once whole game to take a country in southeast coast.
2007-06-29 18:25:06 - Selin: So, your reference regarding this game is not valid.
2007-06-29 18:31:45 - Selin: 243409: Whole game long Evil and egatlas attacked each other (again meaningless, somehow stupid!) After egatlas was eliminated Evil was weak. Our first contact with you was turn 75 where you attacked me with all of your forces. I didn't make a countermove
2007-06-29 18:33:22 - Selin: You attacked again in turn 78, again I didn't reply you. After that Evil attacked me instead of Zaw with most armies at that time.
2007-06-29 18:35:51 - Selin: I never attacked you in that game to break you or to weaken you. If you both (Evil and you) make yourself weak with those stupid attacks and let Zaw alone with huge forces, why do you wonder later that you loose?
2007-06-29 18:36:41 - Selin: So, again your reference to this game is not valid.
2007-06-29 18:41:09 - Selin: Last word: I never pick someone consistently to win or to attack. I never do alliances or agreements of any kind.
2007-06-29 18:44:10 - Selin: If you try to see the other side of the picture, (i.e. try to understand your opponents thoughts and moves), you may have a better understanding of this game. That drastically improves skills of players.
2007-06-29 21:37:43 - Mepps: So what you are saying is that if Mepps (153 armies) attacks Zaw (330 armies), you (255 armies) can win... that's brilliant!
2007-06-29 21:38:46 - Mepps: I fail to see the balance in that... especially since you just place armies instead of going after Zaw.
2007-06-29 21:42:52 - Mepps: All my games were valid - in every one, you made large, late attacks and in every one, the person you attacked and yourself both lost.
2007-06-29 21:44:49 - Mepps: I'm over it... no need to keep this chat going. I seriously wish you luck and fun here at cclub in the future.
2007-06-30 18:53:16 - Selin: I won't comment on this running game, as it may influence your play. Regarding other games I see that you couldn't understand what I explained (or maybe I couldn't explain it well).
2007-06-30 18:53:25 - Selin: Agreed, no need to discuss more.
2007-07-08 00:21:57 - Mepps: hey, it's Incandenza, fillin' in for Mepps this weekend
2007-07-08 16:38:44 - Mepps: Mepps back...
2007-07-10 00:00:51 - Mepps: GG ZawBanjito
2007-07-10 01:49:11 - ZawBanjito: Whoa-hoh! Wasn't expecting that. Too bad Selin, shoulda seen that one coming. Nice move Mepps.
2007-07-10 01:49:25 - ZawBanjito: Good game, guys.
2007-07-10 09:14:18 - Selin: i lost too many armies against ankh. about 95 lost against your 74. if i hadn't lost so many armies, i would have stayed in turnwise klatch with about 80+ armies. that should have hindered mepps eliminating you.
2007-07-10 09:15:36 - Selin: sometimes dices do not follow my plans :)
2007-07-10 09:16:10 - Selin: gg all
2007-07-10 22:31:00 - Mepps: 66 vs 50 and you have 8 left.... sometimes dice do no follow my plans either :(
2007-07-11 15:29:48 - ZawBanjito: Man, I was waiting for you two to do this to each other so I could do what Mepps did. Urrgh. I really thought I had this one.
2007-07-11 22:05:08 - Mepps: gg guys
