2009-02-03 20:43:26 - jalen45: here we go again.
2009-02-05 21:55:46 - jalen45: i seriously cannot believe the crap you are pulling with dice in almost every single game. have you at least been noticing it? first you took 15 with 6, then you break 7 vs 9 with 4 left. unreal.
2009-02-05 21:56:31 - jalen45: i just rolled 7 on 1 and lost the first 6 armies. wtf.
2009-02-05 23:10:23 - Greycloak: With 1 left. The trouble with complaining about the dice is that it always goes both ways and can be streaky. If you get worked up because so-and-so got better dice and are quiet when you win, there are two implications:
2009-02-05 23:11:12 - Greycloak: 1) You are implying that the lucky party couldn't have won without the good dice.
2009-02-05 23:13:24 - Greycloak: 2) There is a hypocracy implied in complaining about bad dice and not mentioning good dice.
2009-02-05 23:15:12 - Greycloak: For these reasons, I prefer to keep my whining about bad dice to myself or to my partner if I must vent. I will not be made to feel guilty because I was on the good end of the dice today when I've been on shitty dice adventures many many times.
2009-02-06 17:44:41 - jalen45: well maybe when its 6 out of 7 games or so... it gets pretty bad and frustrating.
2009-02-06 17:45:10 - jalen45: one or two games no big deal happens to everyone. when it occurs 85% of the time, its not worth playing.
2009-02-06 19:37:28 - Greycloak: ...and I would argue, not worth crying about. It happens to us all so suck it up.
2009-02-06 19:44:16 - jalen45: what you do mean not worth crying about? its totally worth complaining about, thats my whole point. lol
2009-02-06 19:44:38 - jalen45: if it were here and there, its not. but this is just ridiculous, and you guys cant even admit it.
2009-02-07 14:57:08 - Greycloak: It's not worth crying about because you can't change the outcome by doing so and it only disrespects your opponent(s) as I have argued above. I have admitted that we've been lucky by admitting the fact that it happens in general.
2009-02-09 22:23:11 - Greycloak: Thanks for the games guys.
2009-02-10 04:37:28 - Donkey: Thanks for the game
