"Seconds disappeared... Minutes have passed... Hours gone by... Days went by... They say that the darkest hour is always before the dawn, but I don't whether I still want to believe that... I remember my life - it had its ups and downs, its lefts and rights, its subtle ways that in order to survive, I sometimes have to step up and do things that normally a person would not do. Back in my days, the world was a tough place, but at least a person was able to make sense of it - now it's different... But I shall not give up. My memories, my work, my life has not gone down to end like this! I shall survive and help rebuild humanity even if I'll have to drink my own piss to do it."

Image
The Apocalyptic prophecies are already becoming true!

The old man (or at least that's how he felt until recently) closed his diary put on his old jacket and went out for a walk. The night sky was beautiful with the stars shining high above - he had not seen such a beautiful sky in years. Even though smokes and fires still surrounded him, for the first time in a while a shimmer of hope has appeared - his hardened face lightened and one could even see the reminiscent of a smile reappear - a single tear dropped out of his light blue eyes and went down the cheek. "There is hope after all."

Image
Image
Such a contrast, yet it still brings hope that everything will be alright.

While walking down the dark Main Street, where shadows were his only companions, old man suddenly saw something shimmering in the corner of the valley... Being a compassionate man that he was, it only took 10 secs to get to the sorry leftovers of a human being.
"Cold... so cold... Death... Martha..." - these were the only rambles he could make out.
"Here, take my jacket. I have something that needs to be done fast, but I'll be back for you as soon as I'm done."
Little did he know that something was following that scent of the jacket and that whoever had it would feel misery for the rest of it's life - which was not long."

Image
Perhaps this sort of business would have worked much better in the Apocalyptic world?

Meanwhile, Johnny Morales was aiming his sniper rifle to what he thought would be the last that he'd ever have to make. The sweat was going down through his cheeks, but he knew he had to do it. As he's about to shoot.. "click" , "click" , "click."
"I can believe this shit!.. For f*ck's sake!"
There was not going to be any shooting from this guy tonight.

Day 8 begin.
But... It was so artistically done.

For only five people alive it seems quite strange that there was so much disruption. In any case Haggis isn't the abomination.

Well, thats good. My blocked kill last night was on haggis. But then who do we still need to kill? One of us must be scum rather than an abomination though if you have cleared everyone here. Can anyone admit to roleblocking me?

The OP isn't up to date, I replaced aage and jeraado replaced skoffin.

Further iliad has already cleared skoffin.

Current fools players:

1. TheSaxlad - Arnold Schwarzenegger, survived a lynch
2. aage Haggis - human
3. Mr. Squirrel - Johnny Morales SWAT member, was masoned with safari, vig, recruited by Streaker, survivor now
4. Skoffin jeraado - human
5. iliad - flavour cop, detects human/non-human

So basically some of the above info must be wrong, or the abomination doesn't exist anymore(though the scene saying something would follow the scent of the jacket suggests otherwise), or the abomination is actually human ...

At this point it might be best for all of us to give full claims(including favour, all actions taken, etc) and look for inconsistencies.

Thoughts?

If you agree, don't claim just yet, I think I might have a way to maximize town's chances if we actually do a mass claim.

There's always a chance.

What's bothering me is that so far herk was the only non-human.
That makes his power kind of useless(unless herk had some kind of ridiculously overpowered recruiting mechanism).

If he's lying though, how did he know herk was a wolfie on D2?
Guess he could be SK + investigative might be possible, though I'm not sure why he'd clear me, like he did, in that case.

Or maybe he got the info on the wolfie through some other means and has been faking the whole investigative thing? He does strike me as one of the players capable of doing that ...

Dunno, since you flipped Arnold I really have no idea what's going on in this game, hence my mass claim proposal.

Yea, iliad being scum/inhuman is a probability. For all we know, he might have made up the investigative role in order to throw herk under the bus. I know I would betray herk in a heartbeat if I had to be partnered with him.

I'm already accounted for. Plus, I've been in just about every scene already. If you guys don't know all my actions and things by now, you haven't been reading hard enough.

He iz the only onez who hasntz beenz accounted forz. A mazz claimz will only help the abomz/scumz.

Also, we really don't know anything about skoffing/jeerado either, except that iliad said they were human. Did you catch up yet jeerado?

Firstly while it's good that people are suspicious and don't take things at face value, the allegations against me are just conspiracy theories. I found the werewolf, and that obviously couldn't been an accident, and while I haven't been able to find the abomination yet, that doesn't mean I'm lying. Especially strange I'm finding I'm a suspect cause others have been cleared by my investigation, leaving me.

All right, for my analysis.

The night scene shows
old man giving away a jacket(didn't sound that town to me, possible third party?)
someone else, a recipient of said jacket.
swat guy

People
Haggis-unaccounted role, however cleared
skoff/jeraado also unaccounted however cleared

Sax and squirrel remain unchecked by me, but seemingly have roles. Seemingly a paradox, as I thought, however I think have the answer. Herk had no idea he was a werewolf, and became very adamant and angry when the lynch got near. Perhaps that's the deal with the serial killers in this game, and why it's been so hard to pin-point them or why my role would be needed. The abomination could be jekyll and hyde kind of thing, with the jekyll part perhaps even being unaware. Herk's role and behaviour certainly supports this. It would also explain why the people who I haven't investigated because I thought they were cleared otherwise sailed through.

So that leaves sax and squirrel. It's great that even with a mislynch, we would still win tomorrow. And that is why both sax and squirrel, seem interested in attacking me, however especially sax. Sax, yesterday tried to go for haggis's lynch, but underestimated his persuasive power and was lynched himself. And now, with that gone, he's going for me. I've found him fairly suspicious throughout the game, but didn't take him for the abomination on the account of his post restriction. I thought it meant he was part of of some of the mental asylum escapees.

It is true that sax was unlynchable, but as the jacket and safariguy5 shows, comander uses one shot protections in this game. It could easily be the same with sax.

Iliad, my main problem with your role is this:

How does it make sense to have a flavour cop who can only detect 2 people out of 21? Isn't that ridiculously underpowered?

Huh?

If we claim, we claim everything.

Since we're on day 8, it will be quite difficult for somebody to craft a fake claim encompassing his actions for the last 8 days that fits in perfectly with everyone elses claim.

But like I said, no one claim yet, i've got an idea as to how we can do the claims to maximize towns' odds, if we do agree to do them.

Well firstly, since the werewolf and abomination likely don't know who they are, my role could be one of the only ways to find them. I've also been suspecting since herk's death that he may have been able to recruit, or turn others into werewolves, who would also been unwitting about their condition, but probably wouldn't be able to recruit.

If this is true, then he has to be town. There really can't be unlynchable scum/SKs because it breaks the game. If the vig is killed night 1, then automatically these unlynchable anti-town factions win because the town can't kill them.
