yes I know that, but I don't like the idea, of people that don't know anything about the comminutiy to come in and modding. First of all, they'll have to start checking out the forums a lot more to do their job, while some people are used to it. Another thing, is that the more frequent posters, know people a lot better, this could lead to better judgment in certain cases. Like if someone does say bigotry, but it's their first offense and they feel sorry, probably a more active person who know that, and a newer one, would just assume or have to research. Personally, my idea, would be to give people a chance, to see if they can do good. I believe in chances more.

She's been here for 8 months, why do you say she knows nothing about the community?

Sure she doesn't spam and play forum games as much as some people, but that's not exactly what it takes to be a mod

Do you delete (certain) offenses after x amount of time or is it permanent?

(E.g. say someone like Gilligan gets a ban for a big sig. (not that serious an offense) would you delete that after say 3 or 6 months?)

Yea, congrats to all new mods, but congrats imply's that it is something they were trying to achieve, and from what I hear they were chosen, so THANKS for taking on the responsibility.
