And zebra. No, I just want a Kenya map. Lions and Tigers would be a plus though.

A lack request we still haven't responded to was a Super-continent map similar to Classic where the Aisa sized 'super-continent' is an objective instead of a bonus.

empire builder reminds me of feudal and dim's maps - that's definitly not a bad thing though
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Settlers

"The Settlers... [was] first released in 1993 for Commodore Amiga and in 1994 for the PC."

That might be why you've never heard of it...

He should still have heard of it. There are up to 5 in the series and that couldn't have been more then a year or two ago.

Since looking at it again, I'm tempted to get hold of a copy of the 10th Anniversary edition, and relive the hours spent waiting for buildings to be built... tap tap tap.... tap tap tap...

Teaching you about settlers is not off topic!

Seriously though, when a new idea happens it will show up here without the person posting it reading anything else in the topic. And when I get the index back up to date all this randomness won't matter much anyway.

In fact, after I get the index up to date I'm going to start trying to get some of these ideas moving myself by prodding some good map makers who don't seem to be doing much lately.

I'd like to see a map based on the French and Indian War:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_and_indian_war

Battles among different nations on multiple continents for control of supremacy in Europe and resources in America could work pretty well.

Just my two cents at 3am on a lazy morning.
