I completely disagree. I think anyone can learn to appreciate any type of music. Changing someone's beliefs is changing who they are, fundamentally.
Entirely possible, but I would personally be more responsive to a political/religious argument supported by evidence, as opposed to a musical taste argument which revolves around emotional appeal. I'd imagine some others would be as well.
Anyway, I don't have much to say about the list as many of these were before my time.
Not really. Few of them go back to the 60's/70's. Many of them are current artists as well. In any event you can talk about what pop singers you appreciate if you like.
