Yeah yeah, it's the final scene and there are a lot of people who have to die. I needed a full hour just to write this, its been a busy few days since the final vote.

Final Scene

It was only mid afternoon when the town decided to hang a short little man. They decided he wasn't very nice, he always talked about how smart he was and how inferior the others in the town were to his dizzying intellect. As they slid the noose around his neck, the robe across the branch of a handy tree, and a stool under the little man's feet. Quickly he began to scream, "Inconceivable! Inconceivable! This cannot be happening!" A man in the crowd replied, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. " And promptly kicked the stool out from underneath him, silencing his cries forever.

Vicini (Anark) has been hung

With all the killers dead the threat to the town was over, but yet the death has not yet run its full course.

An albino was walking through the woods, on his way to his hidden torture chambers. His master, the Count was recently made dead, and his lord, the Prince was killed quite some time ago. All he wanted was to return to his lair and spend the last of his days torturing his remaining prisoners. Just as he reached for the secret knot, the hidden lever to open the chamber he felt cold steel touch his throat. A voice came from behind him, "Your master, the six fingered Count, killed my father. My revenge was taken from me by a friend I once valued dearly, who didn't even have the consideration to survive his crime against me. Your death will ease my need for revenge, although I doubt it will fulfill it. With a quick thrust Inigo severed the Albino's jugular and slammed his blade into the tree. Looking at his sword, stained with blood Inigo felt the full weight of his fathers loss, he now knew that his revenge would never be fulfilled. Despair overcame Inigo, he knew here were only two things remaining that he must do. He threw his weight against the sword, a finely crafted piece of steel and gold breaking the blade off at the hilt.

The Albino Aage has been killed

Buttercup mourned the loss of her true love, Westly. Without him her life had no meaning, she knew she would take her own life before the morning. After a brief search of her quarters in the Prince's castle she found a dagger. It would be neither quick nor painless but it would send her with unerring accuracy to her lost love. As she aimed the dagger at her chest there was a pounding at the door. After a moments distraction she returned her focus to the task at hand. The pounding at the door went silent, only to be followed by a crash as Inigo shouldered his way through the lock.

Looking at Buttercup he said, "I suspected as much, know this I have no mind to stop you, just to join you in your your journey and to ease your travels. Producing a vial from under his shirt Inigo continued, "A man gave this to me just before he removed himself from this world and called it Iocane powder. He said moments before his passing, "Nothing in his life becomes a man like the leaving it we can but die as one that had been studied in his death." It will make for painless passing." Seeing the agreement written plainly on her face he added the powder to two glasses of wine sitting on a nearby table, raised his glass to her's in a final salute and drained it dry. Buttercup raised her own to her lips and murmured, "Wait for me for just a minute longer, my love I am coming."

Inigo (Naxus) has committed suicide
Buttercup (Vio) has committed suicide

And so the story ends, The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head.

I hoped everyone enjoyed the game. It sure didn't play out much like the movie. The Town won, but several failed to meet their wining requirements, Commander and Vio (Westly and Buttercup) had to both be alive at the end for them to win. Naxus (Inigo) had to kill Ga7 (Count Tyrone) in order to win as well as the regular town win requirements. This leaves us with Clive, PCM and Tailgunner as our three winners.

Setup
Commander Westly Vig. NK every night. DK for one day if Buttercup dies, Buttecup's lover
Violet Buttercup Beloved Princess, Westly's lover
Naxus Inigo Montoya DK, ends day. 2 Investigations. Dies if he doesn't kill Count Tyrone in endgame
Clive Fezzick Roleblocker
PCM Miracle Max Doc know Val
TG Valerie Backup Doc, Knows Max
Anarkist The Impressive Clergyman Can stop an Execution
TheSaxlad Prince Humperdink GF, Innocent upon Investigation
Ga7 Cont Tyrone Executioner, can't be used on consecutive days.
Aage The Albino 1 Roleblock, 1 Busdrive
AnarkistV2 11 Vicini SK

Aage was endgamed because the mafia no longer had a kill, Sax had the kill and with his death it was passed on to Ga7. It could only be passed on once. This was also why I didn't make any real effort to replace him. The only way he could win after the rest of the mafia died was to redirect his AnarkV2's kill back at him when they were the only two left. I couldn't ask someone to replace someone who was in that bad of a position.

N1
Fezzick Roleblock Xuereb (replaced by Vio)
Miracle Max Protect Commander (PCM wasn't playing yet, it was whoever the doc was then)
Vicini NK Clive

N2
Westly Kill Ga7
Miracle Max Protect Vio
Ga7 Kill Commander
Vicini Kill Commander

Thoughts?

Yea, with a double night if you killed Inigo and either PCM or Tailgunner the game would have been over.

Nice - good game, Doc. I've definitely enjoyed it, even though it started slow. Not completely sure why I wasn't protected at Night 2, but... Oh well. Roles seem balanced enough and everything was organized really well, including the well written stories. I'll be waiting for your next game.

Vio claimed, but everyone seemed to forget about it. Always good to protect the Beloved Princess rather then the gut who hasn't acted scummy. You are lucky that aage wasn't around that night, the scum would have likely won. Ga7 wanted Aage to drive himself with Naxus, resulting in Naxus's death and yours, and then the day ending with a double night with 2 anti town killers out there and a scum executioner.

Yay! Yeah Anark came close to winning. But he was just to scummy. ;)

I enjoyed the game, edoc, but it was excruciatingly slow. Hopefully activity will pick up for future games.

Well, I remember her claiming Buttercup, but I don't remember claiming a beloved princess. I thought that I've proved my townyness more than enough, but I can also understand where you're coming from.

Oops, I was somewhat unaware I was supposed to know 40kguy. I was so entranced by Billy Crystal's mug, I guess I didn't read the rest of the message.

Was protecting Commander the wrong move night 1? ga7 was hating on the doc, but given his... allegiance, I feel at least slightly redeemed.
