About lalaland clearing Sully, I think it does clear him, to an extent.
Lalaland was mafia, right? And Sully is accused of being cult. Would the mafia faction know who was in the cult faction? I would assume not, although I don't know the set-up that Tal and Vio have made. So that means lala was just blending in giving info and she helped Sully by clearing him. The only reason lala would have for holding a scum card and claiming VS as town would be... wait... I just thought of something (sorry if this confuses you I just type this out as I think). What if the card not only said Sully was scum but said he was cult? Then lala would know that Sully is cult and clear him as town. But wait, why would he do that? Aren't cult and mafia opposing factions? Lala would want to get rid of Sully, and would not have claimed him innocent if he was really cult. So that means Sully is cleared and is town. But what if Sully and Lala are both mafia? Then lala would have a good reason for clearing sully. But then why did Sully claim lala as scum? And why does Tonka think Sully is cult? Maybe Sully was trying to distance himself from lala, and by claiming him scum from the cards, he could do so and get away scot-free. That would explain the coincidence of Sully and Lala drawing each other's cards. But that doesn't explain why Tonka thinks Sully is a cult recruiter. Maybe Tonka was the one who really drew Sully's card, and he just made a big fat lie about Sully instead of just coming up and claiming he had his card. But doing that would mean he had to cross lines with lala's claim, and that could get ugly. So he decided to make something else up that souunded believable, so he could get Sully lynched. Or maybe he's a luyncher, and Sully's his target. IDK. Or maybe Tonka is part of the Mafia faction, and it's all a clever rouse to get the town to think he's on our side. But I find that possibility unlikely.
Before this, I was thinking to myself, "Sully's town and there just giving him a hard way to go," but now I find myself wondering if he plotted this with lalaland. Anyway, before I make any decision I will request Sully and Tonka to respond to the accusations I made against them in possible scenarios from this discussion post.
