Ok I get that but I was trying to say something is strange here if we lynch WW and he turns out to be town then the evidence on the other person seems to make him scum and we lynch him, then we find out that he is town also we are down 2 town people and a oop's and sorry my mistake. Why this possible info on someone else, but we have to wait for it. Why not just continue to investigate WW,dont side track it let it happen. Is there anyone else on the radar that sidetracking the investigation of WW and just lynching him would help. It seems to me saying something about someone else right now might draw attention off of somebody else. Who I dont know. Has anyone else made a mistake that hasnt been caught yet? Or like I said earlier I might have read to much into it.

jgordon1111 wrote:Are we trying to make sure that we lynch WW on the evidence of a lie,so that we make sure something else doesn't come out about someone else? To me this just seems strange. I know most of you play this regular and maybe this isn't unusual. But this could lead to WW being lynched and if he turns out town then the new info gives us some other town member who wanted to lynch WW so they must be scum then. Or maybe I am just reading to much into sorry.

First of all, I just read 4 pages and I'm tired of reading.

Second, I would be shocked if WW is town at this point. He may not be mafia, he might be third party. I would be really shocked if he was town. He could be a jester. He has almost acted like he's wanted to get lynched.

Third, you aren't reading too much into this. If he is town and telling the truth about this new claim, we would likely try to pursue someone who helped lynch him and set him up. However, this would be more applicable if it were still a counter claim situation. But since he is no longer claiming JOAT, there is not a counter claim, so there is less to go after in this particular case.

I'm all for finding more scum, but I don't see how anyone could not vote for WW at this point. FOS zimmah in regards to that.

I had no idea this game would be so time consuming. Ten more pages since the last time I looked, and I don't have time to read them all, so I'm not going to vote yet. With a bit of luck I'll have a slow day at work on Sunday and I'll catch up on my reading.

I did have one thought when I heard about the Night One killings. Not sure if this thought is original or if I'm re-covering old ground, butI'll contribute it either way:

There's not much chance of finding out why the vigilante killed the one Turk, but the other Turk, the one played by newguy, was killed by the mako cannon, which is presumably Shinra.

And I remember, way back when, early in Day One, there was somebody who was jumping all over newguy and trying to get him lynched. I don't have time right now to go through 30-some odd pages to find who that was, but that would be where I would start my search.

Quick post:

I do not attack players unless I see something suspicious, there is a mix up, or they question me. So if it was me, then it obviously passed.

LaL is LaL

Unvote Vote MoB

While I disagree with LaL, I agree that we can't trust william.

Because he's lying. :?

I have no problem using the day to talk about other cases, but no one's presented any so far, and simply unvoting without contributing any new discussion doesn't help any.

but other then that, it doesn't hurt to think this through a little more, does it?

So what better case do you see? You doing this seems scummy to me. If he is scum we need to take a close look at you tomorrow. If he is scum it seems you want to waste a night of investigations etc. checking him out.

I think the best thing to do is to lynch him now and move on with the game.

If his latest claim is true the only way to prove it is for Cloud to claim and someone kill him and see what happens and that is just crazy.

I feel that we can get a lot of valuable info from this lynch- regardless of his alignment.

I'm inclined to believe wildwilliam, actually. Perhaps it's because I'd probably do (and have done) the same thing ( ) but at this point, it's a bit late to go back.

If it means anything (not sure how far from a lynch we are), unvote.

Dukasaur makes a good point. I don't specifically recall a case on new guy, but if someone tried to make one, it would be worth looking into. It seems more than strange to me that new guy would be a target for the mafia. It totally goes against the veteran bias! I think we might be dealing with a newbie mafia (though this assumption may be borderline WIFOM, or what have you).

Zimmah's misunderstanding caused a great deal of confusion, but I guess I understand it on his part. I think the biggest tell to come out of that was ghostly's play. He immediately jumped behind zimmah, but then made a few contradicting posts which were just...off. Not to mention he's from the US, and should have had no trouble understanding what "roll call" means. After he managed to back out of that, he immediately threw an FOS on Doom and newguy for simply stating that he was acting fishy (sort of a mini-OMGUS). Then he disappeared for 11 days, popped in to wish happy holidays, and hasn't been heard from since.

As people started to discuss the obituary section, a suspicious looking man started questioning Wildwilliam.

Strike Wolf: "So, yesterday you've claimed to be a JOAT, right? You see, we might have a little problem here as I am also a JOAT."

Wildwilliam: "Well, Tifa beats Vincent. And I can prove my role through the use of Crystal Gloves."

Most people: "We are not convinced".

Wildwilliam: "Then why don't you investigate me?"

Some people: "This is EXACTLY what a godfather would say! Lynch him, he is the godfather!"

Wildwilliam: "But I was actually a vengeful bo..."

Was town right when they thought him to be the mafia godfather?

As it turns out, town was WRONG.

As D3 starts, everyone decided to move from Gold Saucer to Nibelheim in order to appreciate a local festival. The overall tone was of disgust and fear when they noticed two corpses by the gates of the city. They were both originally from Nibelheim and they had left the Gold Saucer just a little earlier than the others. Right now, their spirits are probably regretting the haste.

Slowreactor - Tifa Lockhart (from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the movie), town lover, has been executed by countless gatling gun shots.

Killboy108 - Cloud Strife (from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the movie), town lover/1-shot bulletproof, has committed suicide.

Alright if you roll blocked someone last night, sneak your opinion into an open discussion today, because 2 people were murdered N1, and only 1 N2 (1 was suicide due to the death of his lover). So one of them obviously got role blocked last night. We do not need the person who role blocked last night coming out and saying it, we just need them to give a good strong opinion and maybe we will catch the hint.

If a framer targets someone, "cop" investigations (could also be JOAT investigations or investigations given by an inventor) of the framed person will say he is mafia/guilty/not town for the duration of the night.

With the framer dead. I felt it would be safe to observe the prime suspect from yesterday. Zimmah is scum. Before we speed lynch let's hear some other opinions.

For the record duke. A framer makes a townie appear guilty on investigation.
