Game Type	Standard	In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner.
Initial Troops	Automatic	Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops.
Play Order	Sequential	A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams.
Spoils	Escalating	At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. Escalating Spoils indicates that each set traded in will be worth more than the previous. The first set is worth 4 bonus troops. Then 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 etc. If you own any of the regions that you trade in you get two bonus troops on those regions.
Reinforcements	Chained	At the end of your turn you can reinforce once from one region to another (they must be connected by regions that you own).
Fog of War	No	Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log
Trench Warfare	No	You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn.
Round Limit	None
Round Length	24 Hours	Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play.
Scoring	Regular	Regular leaderboard scoring is in place for this game

2012-08-20 15:12:48 - musicalmaven: hi fuzzy. sorry it took so long for me to say hi. we started late friday night (almost 11 on the east coast) and i had to get up early on saturday to drive 3 hours to get the wife to the airport - and 3 hrs. back home,

2012-08-22 19:37:21 - musicalmaven: 2-2 ????? i hope you're right, but a) i had to get a 5th card and b) i went 5 & 7 against 2 defenders and 2 & 2 against 1 defender, so, as usual, i cannot close you out. and my prior turn was 3 & 3 against 2 defenders and 3 & 1 against 1 defender.
2012-08-22 19:39:47 - musicalmaven: and even the turn before that i went 5 & 13 against 2 defenders and 2 & 0 against 1 defender, so my inability to close you (or any other opponent) out is not limited to a single turn. i keep leaving the door open - and then anyone could walk in and.....
