2008-11-16 07:23:06 - denominator: even so.. you both cashed sets at the right times... i sense my eastern monopoly ending in a hurry
2008-11-19 08:53:27 - Visaoni: I guess I should've known better than to auto 14v7.
2008-11-19 13:51:49 - yeti_c: Ya - AA just screwed me too!
2008-11-19 20:25:01 - denominator: another mixed set Haggis? arg.
2008-11-20 06:10:55 - n00blet: if you'd left me alone i might've let your border live a bit longer yeti.......maybe....mwahahahahahaha
2008-11-20 06:10:57 - n00blet: ;)
2008-11-21 13:08:28 - yeti_c: S'OK - Noob - you'll pay sooner of later!!
2008-11-23 04:25:30 - n00blet: im thinking sooner >< lol
2008-11-24 12:32:19 - yeti_c: Yep!!!
2008-11-24 19:43:22 - denominator: how does the mid-turn cash of cards work?
2008-11-24 20:07:54 - n00blet: you can deploy on any territory you want, but the territories are all still restricted as they were at the beginning of the turn
2008-11-26 01:06:33 - Ditocoaf: that's smart, I suppose. I guess the only real choice is whether or not you can deploy on the new territs... and why not?
2008-11-26 01:07:37 - Ditocoaf: if you chose the other way, we'd have to add to the description of the rule... this way, it stays simple to explain, as well.
2008-11-26 02:17:16 - n00blet: i think you should be able to deploy on new territories. it would be pretty confusing otherwise. i'm open to it either way though, as long as we have a good, clear, way of explaining it
2008-11-26 03:25:08 - denominator: i say you can deploy on new territories, just can't attack from them.
2008-11-26 06:24:00 - Visaoni: I think that the best way to go. Otherwise it gets way too complicated, and it doesn't add anything to the game.
2008-11-26 08:23:59 - denominator: well the other way, it sorta acts like a kill run at the end of an escalating game
2008-11-26 08:24:24 - denominator: it allows you to poise yourself for the kill, because you can further your troops that way
2008-11-26 08:24:54 - denominator: otherwise, there's no point in moving in for a kill unless it is necessary to gaining control of the map
2008-11-26 09:25:54 - Ditocoaf: denom, there's no need to complicate this further... it's still advantageous to make a kill, because the extra armies can be used to better defend your position, and also to expand in the _other_ directions.
2008-11-27 09:28:51 - yeti_c: Denom - you're fighting the wrong person - visaoni is the one whose gonna win if you keep coming ease.
2008-11-27 09:28:56 - yeti_c: east
2008-11-27 21:59:21 - denominator: i'm trying to go west - but can't hold that border.
2008-11-27 21:59:48 - denominator: i'm trying to secure the western border before putting up a big fight
2008-12-03 01:04:13 - denominator: well that was a great time to almost deadbeat
2008-12-03 01:04:22 - denominator: very sorry about that guys.
2008-12-03 01:35:59 - Visaoni: Really? 38 on one side, 30 on the other, and 15 on the third and final side. I'm in a good position but uh... not that good.
2008-12-03 01:38:08 - Visaoni: What? I didn't have Lichtenstein selected for that second batch. Crap.
2008-12-09 10:20:50 - yeti_c: Holy shit - Denom actually did DB!
2008-12-09 18:08:04 - n00blet: wwwwweeeeelllll that changes things
2008-12-09 19:17:33 - Visaoni: Well, that changes things up a bit.
2008-12-09 20:27:05 - denominator: son of a fuck.
2008-12-09 20:27:34 - denominator: that pretty much handed the game to yellow.
2008-12-10 01:20:24 - Visaoni: Not really. They are both getting established pretty well on their continents.
2008-12-10 10:11:10 - yeti_c: Noob's not established at all - I hope he can keep his end up!
2008-12-10 19:17:16 - n00blet: not with intesity levels like that XD
2008-12-13 07:14:53 - yeti_c: Reckon that's us fucked Noob.
2008-12-13 23:15:25 - n00blet: yuuup
2008-12-13 23:15:50 - n00blet: seems denom's untimely deadbeat was all visaoni needed to finish us
2008-12-13 23:16:01 - n00blet: well played :)
2008-12-14 05:15:03 - Visaoni: Well it would just be bad form to have 4 GH members in a 6 player game and not have one of them win. :)
2008-12-14 07:17:35 - yeti_c: He he he - yeah well played - the DB didn't help us a lot!
2008-12-14 19:06:55 - Visaoni: Yeah, I thought I was screwed until he dropped.
2008-12-15 15:34:16 - Visaoni: Wondered how much that was going to cost me. Didn't realize how quickly armies could be depleted even without being able to attack after advancing.
2008-12-16 05:23:16 - yeti_c: Gah - no dice to kill Noob - his 1 card was my only chance!
2008-12-16 17:52:10 - yeti_c: Suck on my reds!!!
2008-12-16 17:52:21 - yeti_c: PS - if you want - you can just finish it in one go...
2008-12-16 17:53:16 - yeti_c: GG well played.
2008-12-16 23:09:50 - Visaoni: GG. I will. If this does become a game type, I wonder if a new idea needs to be formed for the ending, because otherwise this could, in theory, take an extra 4 or 5 days to finish.
2008-12-17 18:23:06 - yeti_c: That's just the fun of it!!
