2009-02-23 02:12:54 - SuicidalSnowman: ok, so far, so good
2009-02-23 02:13:00 - SuicidalSnowman: best of luck guys
2009-02-23 02:53:08 - denominator: here we go again, guys.
2009-02-23 02:53:11 - denominator: good luck.
2009-02-23 02:59:44 - n00blet: yay! make sure to remind your sitters if you happen to not be here ;)
2009-02-23 02:59:48 - n00blet: good luck all
2009-02-23 18:01:29 - yeti_c: Good luck everyone.
2009-02-23 18:02:19 - yeti_c: You know what would be a great change to this map - if the bonuses were autodeploy...
2009-02-23 18:02:40 - yeti_c: If we're all agreed - perhaps we could play those rules?
2009-02-23 18:03:03 - yeti_c: i.e. - for each Oasis you hold - you drop +3 on them of your deploy.
2009-02-24 04:21:09 - n00blet: i think that would be a cool change to the map, but since we're already testing out one thing, i'd be fine sticking with the original
2009-02-24 04:21:23 - n00blet: but i'm fine either way :P
2009-02-25 09:30:54 - yeti_c: Yeah - either is fine by me!!
2009-02-26 05:06:53 - SuicidalSnowman: for this one, my vote is play it AA style
2009-02-26 05:07:02 - SuicidalSnowman: deploy as you wish
2009-02-26 05:07:23 - SuicidalSnowman: and for the same reason as nooblet: we are already changing on thing, lets leave it at that
2009-02-26 06:13:44 - denominator: plus, we agreed to a set of rules going in.
2009-02-26 06:13:58 - denominator: if we're going to change the rules, let's do it for a fresh game.
2009-02-26 18:12:14 - sully800: damn it SS! ;-)
2009-02-26 18:12:30 - sully800: yeah, lets stick with the same setup as last time. regular rules but AA
2009-02-27 04:49:35 - denominator: uh oh .... blue's on a run...
2009-02-28 15:14:04 - yeti_c: SSSSShhhhh
2009-02-28 15:40:20 - n00blet: i will....stooppppp...youuuuu!!!
2009-03-01 17:06:19 - sully800: sorry for the miss, no internet in the ariport yesterday. Stop yeti!
2009-03-03 11:29:47 - SuicidalSnowman: hope yellow brough enough!
2009-03-03 15:53:54 - yeti_c: I don't!!
2009-03-03 15:56:11 - yeti_c: But if he did - you guys better hurry up - else he's gonna win it from the rest of ya.
2009-03-03 15:57:11 - yeti_c: Only Sully can stop him if I can't.
2009-03-03 20:59:32 - sully800: Not with dice like that!
2009-03-03 20:59:49 - sully800: Just pull out Yeti, SS will be close enough as well next turn
2009-03-03 21:12:52 - yeti_c: Even stevens on the dice - SS is gonna win this now then.
2009-03-04 22:34:17 - sully800: This is a really bad map for AA in my opinion. if you don't get ahead right away you can't win
2009-03-04 22:34:59 - sully800: You guys have all the oases to the north that no one else can even threaten. And we pretty much can't take a captured oasis because it takes two rounds and you get bonus troops to defend them with
2009-03-04 22:35:12 - sully800: I don't know, but in two games now I don't think it has worked well
2009-03-05 01:08:38 - SuicidalSnowman: agreed, not good for aa
2009-03-05 02:44:56 - denominator: well i face a problem now.
2009-03-05 02:45:11 - denominator: either i step aside in the hopes blue and yellow can stop pink.
2009-03-05 02:45:41 - denominator: or i try to go for the oasises myself by i'll allow pink to win by doing that.
2009-03-05 04:09:17 - sully800: Yeti I promise I am not going to take your oasis. I will sidestep it in favor of the Oasis of Life
2009-03-05 11:30:21 - yeti_c: Aha - the dice gods have favoured me for once... Now all I gotta do is turn up to win this thing!!
2009-03-05 16:45:24 - n00blet: :( can't say the same :P
2009-03-05 16:46:22 - n00blet: so we learned something new...letting only one person try to defend the grand oasis also means doom, because as soon as one gets really good (or really bad) dice, its all over
2009-03-05 16:53:52 - yeti_c: Yeah - they seemed to hurt you the turn before - cos you only had 3 left - I was expecting another huge army dingdong battle...
2009-03-05 16:54:31 - yeti_c: This map would be transformed in AA - IF the decay could revert to neutral.
2009-03-05 16:55:11 - yeti_c: That way I would've had to have had at least 12 armies in the oasis - and that would've meant a lot more time for others to get in.
2009-03-06 11:13:46 - SuicidalSnowman: at this time, i declare oasis a poor AA choice!
2009-03-06 11:13:59 - SuicidalSnowman: but congrats yeti, well played
2009-03-07 01:31:10 - sully800: I agree very poor. I should have attacked the neutral as it turned out but then I'd probably be too weak to win if Yetis dice failed :-(
2009-03-07 01:32:15 - sully800: I went back on my promise as revenge for you outplaying me yeti :-P
2009-03-07 07:27:16 - yeti_c: He he he - no worries Sully - And Woot I remade Captain!!!
