Standard |
In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner. |
Automatic |
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops. |
Sequential |
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams. |
Flat Rate |
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. A set of three reds is worth four bonus troops. Three greens is worth six and three blues is worth 8. A set of three different colors is worth ten bonus troops. If you own any of the regions that you trade-in you get two bonus troops on those regions. |
Chained |
At the end of your turn you can reinforce once from one region to another (they must be connected by regions that you own). |
Yes |
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log |
No |
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn. |
None |

24 Hours |
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play. |

2009-05-30 08:46:02 - spinbot: Hahaha! Thats awesome. Love that movie.
2009-05-30 21:28:37 - Peter Gibbons: yeah, surprisingly most people miss the reference
2009-05-30 21:28:47 - Peter Gibbons: if you're interested in my tournament, you can sign up here: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=85105
2009-05-31 16:35:03 - spinbot: ok so just for everyone else's benefit, Red has 18 on Sardegna, if Im supposed to take care of it then we're all in trouble...
2009-05-31 16:37:38 - Peter Gibbons: what the hell???? that's totally not cool in fog
2009-05-31 16:37:58 - Peter Gibbons: and you have no idea what is going on elsewhere
2009-05-31 20:24:03 - Smackie1970: Count me in the group that doesn't like that kind of info in fog either
2009-06-01 06:50:23 - spinbot: as if it isnt!?! the idea is clearly to hide the fact that you are big. If you've got a massive army you should hide it behind a 1.
2009-06-01 06:53:32 - spinbot: my plan is to win, so if I think that someone else is going to then its in my interest to share what i know...
2009-06-01 06:54:38 - spinbot: its not against the rules and this is the first time anyone has argued against it.
2009-06-02 03:24:34 - Peter Gibbons: look, I'm one of those people that agrees there should be written fog rules, so I dno't fault you that much
2009-06-02 03:24:43 - Peter Gibbons: but, almost everyone agrees that you don't give away troop strengths in fog
2009-06-02 12:03:46 - spinbot: well im not going to keep doing it everyone agrees that its taboo but I totally disagree that I shouldnt be able to share info.
2009-06-02 12:06:09 - spinbot: ...diplomacy is a key ingredient of the game and its even more valuable in fog games because you can lie your ass off :-)
2009-06-02 15:42:09 - spinbot: whoa!! I mean... *cough* someone is massive on Calabria too *cough* :)
2009-06-02 17:59:52 - Peter Gibbons: well blue, why didn't you see fit to mention the other huge stack on the board?
2009-06-02 18:00:03 - Peter Gibbons: you brought that upon yourself, you know...
2009-06-03 01:28:58 - spinbot: well yes, I may have provoked it... but the reason I didnt mention Green's stack is because I didnt think it was pointed at me. but yours clearly were.
2009-06-03 02:16:26 - Gilles#1: blue, i just want to survive for now. Red it's too strong
2009-06-03 11:36:44 - spinbot: well we're not going to kill him by hiding
2009-06-04 15:18:32 - Peter Gibbons: ok, you guys have sufficiently got me... care to address the other threat now?
2009-06-05 20:57:01 - spinbot: I was just thinking about that. Yellow. Since you've been getting a bonus it would've be nice if you helped us out...
2009-06-05 21:21:58 - Peter Gibbons: "helped out???"
2009-06-05 21:22:16 - Peter Gibbons: you realize he's held the bonus longer than me and hasn't wasted troops or been attacked,, right?
2009-06-05 21:22:43 - Peter Gibbons: I'm willing to bet he has me dominated at this point and is just waiting for you guys to wear me completely down
2009-06-06 15:36:34 - Smackie1970: I'll see what i can do guys. The only real access i have is guarded by a huge stack
2009-06-06 15:37:06 - Smackie1970: Green and i weakened each other a bit battling for the same area earlier
2009-06-06 15:39:45 - Peter Gibbons: what a joke... you guys have me down to barely any territory, one stack that's not even the largest anymore, and don't touch yellow one bit
2009-06-06 15:39:56 - Peter Gibbons: and one bonus
2009-06-10 11:39:26 - spinbot: well, for someone who says hes battling you've still got the biggest stack that I can see plus you're doing a pretty good job of controlling SUD for an extra 4 bonus
2009-06-10 11:40:50 - spinbot: things are working out for yellow too since green and I have been attacking you and hes been attacking us.
2009-06-10 11:43:39 - spinbot: yellow, you've been sitting on the fence for too long, Im not going to take red's bonus for SUD off him since I'll just be setting you up for the win while red deserves it more than you...
2009-06-10 16:32:21 - Peter Gibbons: you're such a liar, blue!!! you're IN SUD!!!! and you know it's all 1s except for 1 territory
2009-06-10 16:33:53 - Peter Gibbons: a simple territory count shows that--I don't have enough to hold Isole and SUD
2009-06-10 16:33:58 - Peter Gibbons: wow
2009-06-11 08:41:20 - spinbot: news flash: IM TRYING TO GET YELLOW TO ATTACK YOU
2009-06-11 16:18:17 - Smackie1970: Sorry, Blue. The only legitimate place for me to attack him is Sardegna.......
2009-06-11 16:18:43 - Smackie1970: I'm not going to blow through 26 armies to break his 3-bonus.
2009-06-11 16:20:06 - Smackie1970: Unfortunately, this looks like a tough board if you don't start with the areas that me and red built from
2009-06-11 16:25:23 - Peter Gibbons: I know what you're doing blue, and when it's an obvious lie I'm going to call you out on it
2009-06-12 17:59:44 - Peter Gibbons: I'm baffled, blue... you've been on me the entire game but it's pretty clear how dominant yellow is--I don't get it
2009-06-14 20:48:28 - spinbot: ...apologies for my last turn, I moved house over the weekend and got my brother to take my turn for me.
2009-06-15 02:49:24 - Peter Gibbons: fair enough, but it might be too late now
2009-06-15 02:49:30 - Peter Gibbons: I broke him last turn and still got killed on a counter
2009-06-16 22:23:17 - Peter Gibbons: well that's all I had in the tank
2009-06-17 17:57:56 - Peter Gibbons: good game yellow
2009-06-17 19:25:15 - Smackie1970: gg red..... hopefully you didn't weaken me too much
2009-06-17 19:39:47 - spinbot: good game yellow. good game all
2009-06-18 07:43:13 - spinbot: you left me one, how thoughtful
2009-06-18 15:10:45 - Smackie1970: i tried to get him....lol...sorry
