2010-12-12 22:10:44 - John Deere: gg PROFITS
2010-12-13 06:31:45 - RedFun: GG blue
2010-12-14 01:52:32 - John Deere: green you have lost you mind....17 v 16 & 1......and 2 other risky ones
2010-12-14 02:04:04 - altkaese: I haven't... I had a fair 35% shot on the entire set of moves... calculated it through... in such a situation I prefer a 35% chance to waiting a turn
2010-12-14 02:05:01 - altkaese: and that 17 v 16,1 had a B-option
2010-12-14 02:05:13 - altkaese: I had the option to support from the south if it wouldn't have worked
2010-12-14 02:05:49 - altkaese: but since it worked I could use the remaining armies in the middle to support those in the very south
2010-12-14 02:06:41 - altkaese: it was a pretty conditional move, I couldn't play one area and then move to the other, as the paths were depending on how the dice went... and with all that I had around 35%, maybe a little more
2010-12-14 02:08:41 - altkaese: I briefly thought about taking a shot at you now, yellow, but I didn't find a way to get it above 20%, which is a bit too low then
2010-12-14 02:11:26 - altkaese: and to the theory why I play the 35%. if either of you three can cash I'm pretty much out, red had 4 and the remaining two 3 each, the chance that any of you can cash is just above 75%, so I'm losing around 20 points in 75% of the cases if I wait, in the
2010-12-14 02:11:50 - altkaese: other 25% of the cases I'm facing a pretty much unchanged situation (with more cards around but that's all)
2010-12-14 02:13:26 - altkaese: by playing it, I have at least 35% on going out of the game even or even get three kills (which is now depending on how you two can cash, I hopelessly lose in the other 65&, of course)
2010-12-14 02:13:42 - altkaese: altogether the expected value of playing it was massively better, so I had to
2010-12-14 02:18:33 - John Deere: your other was something like 28 v 25 over 7 regions.....i would never go for that! My dice are almost never that good, and i sure couldnt count on them......you just got lucky!
2010-12-14 09:04:38 - Koganosi: I agree with yellow. My dices will never win that one!
2010-12-14 09:58:40 - altkaese: it's really just math, I just play the move that has the best expectation... if that move wins only in one of three cases, then it will only work in one of three cases
2010-12-14 09:58:50 - altkaese: and I will lose the other two games
2010-12-14 22:37:08 - John Deere: You do all the math you want but 35% is crappy odds! And you screw enough people doing that kind of crap and get foed enough you will figure it out!
2010-12-15 01:23:04 - altkaese: 35% on winning vs certainly losing is great odds!
