Welcome Comrades to the 39th edition of the Dispatch :)
Our interviewee this week is saxitoxin, a very special Conquer Club hero. Special not for his gameplay or for mod-ing or for any of the conventional reasons but for his contributions to the forums, especially to off-topics. In our interview he shows his charm, compassion and wit and above all shares with us from his vast fund of life experience. Read on for his rib-tickling adventures in the penguin enclosure at Luanda Zoo.

Apologies for the lack of content in this edition's freestyle news. There will be no community opinion this edition. InsomniaRed opted to let the issue die out on its own rather than relighting any fires, due to a few harassing PMs, a few serious PMs, and her own judgement. However, we hope to make up for it with the long awaited interrogation from saxitoxin and also the return of the cook! Want to write for the dispatch or perhaps an article on an issue you feel is very important to you on this website? Drop me a PM and if your article is good we will publish it! Stay tuned for the following edition which will have a christmas theme to it in time for Conquer Club's fifth anniversary and a very special interrogation ;)

In this issue we have a new History 101 highlighting the military history of the Unites States of America. To keep with that theme we are featuring California as our Map Spotlight and Sully's Old School for the Quenched sets its sights on USApocalypse. I would also like to thank natty_dread for the great job he did as the Foundry Executive in charge of the newsletter foundry team. I only hope that I can live up to those that have gone before me -- dolomite13

Re: CC Dispatch [Iss 39: 1.12.10] Chillin' With Saxi

Postby Victor Sullivan on Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:45 pm

I know most of the time when people post "lol" or "roflmao", in reality they just chuckle a little to themselves, not actually literally "laughing out loud" or "rolling on the floor laughing my ass off". In this case, I mean this quite literally when referring to saxi's interrogation: ROFLMAO!!!! OMG SAXI IS F-ING HILARIOUS!!!

Quoted so I can be sure you don't change your tune before happy2seeyou sees it.

I greatly enjoy your way with words saxi. I'm hoping one day you can come into live chat and we can have some witty repartee that rivals anything ever published.

Did you read the interview?
Have you ever visited live chat? Have you ever violated live chat?

Really? Go back and read H2SY's interview, this one was at least entertaining, instead of the same answer every time.

3. Another happy memory is when I recently found out I had a son who is a talented young artist.

:D

Also I remember getting that postcard. Imagine how I surprised my friends were when my first girl friend was a rabbit :?
...Yeah I really misinterpreted your message.

please don't insult other players while complimenting saxi's interview. everyone who consents to an interview takes time out of their day to provide entertainment for all of us.

Well, honestly, I had my accountant fill-out all the answers. I haven't even read the interview myself yet. But it's on my To Do List for 2012.

i stand corrected. the point remains however, that everyone spend time on the answers, albeit some count them as billable hours.
