Small or large. Does not matter.dakky21 wrote:just to clarify..... koontz, what have to be submitted to you? both small and large map or only one of them?
The better you get it, the better your chances are. But do not worry, the maps will get time in the foundry to work on them. Not much but some. jono, having seen your work on two maps already, I am not worried about your drafts.jonofperu wrote:This is a draft, right? As good as possible of course since we're trying to get votes...

Thank you gilligan. Nice to see someone on the ball this early in the morning.Gilligan wrote:You say I can vote for 3, poll says 2

None have the names on them. The only names on the maps should be Dako and Rj Beals who won contests. If any other name is on the map, it is down to the map makers choice. I see my name is on one of the maps but that was down to the map makers wish, not mine.Bruceswar wrote:Also why are some maps labeled with map makers names?

Not at all.perchorin wrote:I've tried several times, but the images for maps 1 and 4 only come up as broken links for me. Not sure what's different about those two--are they hosted somewhere else or something?

That can happen. As soon as the winner is declared (when it goes live, not at the end of the weeks voting) the others can go into the foundry as per normal. I expect to see at least 3 of these maps in the foundry over the course of this year.Butters1919 wrote:I've voted, but I would love to see all 5 pass through the foundry!

#2 and #4 both look better imo.dakky21 wrote:Map #1 is graphically superior to other maps, thats probably why it got most votes. BTW this voting would really benefit from a banner on top of CC

nr 4: it is indeed the reason why I didn't vote for 4. Designwise it's great, but without even a notion of what the gameplay might be like, it's not really that appealing.Armandolas wrote:4 has a lot of potential. Im pretty sure it can turn into a beauty.
I just cant figure out how to play it..maybe that is turning people back
I agree, though I suggest they just make a mapmaking contest for unusual gameplay. The more unusual the better. Classic gameplay is getting boring if it's not on giant maps imo.Armandolas wrote:About n1 , whos is about to win, i have a request...come on Koontz, stop making borders "classic cities : Jakarta" style. They are ugly and you can do better than that. Map looks to have interesting gameplay as allways in your maps. Please hire a graphic guy to work along with you(only for this map
Nobody said number one was mine or even if I am in the contest. Why do you think number 1 is mine?Armandolas wrote:About n1 , whos is about to win, i have a request...come on Koontz, stop making borders "classic cities : Jakarta" style.
