Is it just me? Why doesn't anyone want to play a LIVE game?

Why on earth does nobody (which is more like everybody here) want to actually playing out a game "live"; as opposed to a move a day or every 6 days for #6 players?
I would have thought a "prefer live play" discussion thread would exist,
or a "prefer live play" mod from creators would exist, or a
"prefer live play" game type/option would exist, or something....
Out of hundreds of players and countless hours of effort by coders and admin's - there seem's to be NO interest in playing out a game all at ONCE???
Not bitch'n, just darn curious HOW can so many people actually LIKE taking days and weeks to play a simple game??
All sincere (non-flamming responses) appreciated in advance!

I enjoy not having to take all my turns at once.

But there are many that do. Most of them set up games in our Live Chat section of the site.

And in the future speed games will be added to the site. Check out the suggestions forum To-Do list for other things in the works.

Depends how much time is on your hands, I run around 20 games at a time so generally in an evening i'm looking at around 10 turns - more than enough to keep me occupied. I want to see the realtime developed more - but its no where near a priority for me.

moz976 - thanks for suggestion re: adding to the to-do list... I had tried live chat but there was such great clamour & no real response to that form of asking; nor did anyone else ask about RT publicly. The one player who did respond proceeded to take one turn and leave; hence the thought that an actual game format that would "boot" inactive players would help differentiate each players interest. Was new so thought to ask around rather than presume I was worthy of using the to-do list but shall.

Neophilum- asking isn't a pronouncement...Try just giving your opinion rather than saying "us" to back yourself up (speaking of pronuncements!)

FYI I responded to the one I felt you didn't want chosen - that's how a cr** poll works. If it helps that I think it would be a good feature but as indicated before I have quite a few more items i'd prefer above that - stopping new players joining team games, showing the time left on game turns, allowing a private game to be made public, stats and more stats (or allowing the stats data to be interogated are some at the top of my own list.

By most polls - I should have clarified by "most polls in this forum".
