and posting the following offensive material depicting individuals on a signature banner as Native Americans with the intended purpose to make fun of and humiliate a race of people.
Comments: Being Native American Sioux, I have found this signature banner very offensive and racist in its presentation. Out of all the races in the United States, the Native American is yet the one group that it is found to be okay to make bigoted portrayals of. It is quite clear that the portrayal of certain individuals in that banner wearing cartoon depictions of Native America regalia is meant to try to get a cheap laugh simply based on racial lines and racial prejudice.

Are you kidding right? This was the bandit's Thanksgiving celebration signature. We all wore it for about 2 weeks either last year or the year before to celebrate this American holiday and no problems were raised.

Ugh I see nothing wrong with that sig. Nor did any of the other native American people here. The sig is in good taste.

So you think that pictures of people with cartoon headgears drawn on them is designed as racial image to 'humiliate a race of people.' I think you are well out of line here and I highly resent being called a racist for wearing that signature. It is clearly you have some deep-seated issues going on and the cheating and abuse forum is not the place for you tackle your real life problems.

You have not proven intent here.
Native war-bonnets and pilgrim hats are not offensive but rather symbols, which many people wear with extreme pride. While I grew up near the 6-Nations reserve, wearing native head dress was typically only done around celebration times.
This is not the best information, but is close to various meanings/interpretations I've seen.
Seriously, there is nothing racist about this. Eventually we're going to have to quit crying when somebody depicts somebody else in a manner in which we don't see fit. Next somebody will find the pilgrim hats offensive because they aren't worn how they were in the 1600's so they tarnish the name of their ancestor.
Being a white man who can locate Ireland on a map, I find Crazyirishman's avatar offensive. Not only does the Fighting Irish mascot appear to be standing up straight, but there is not a bottle or pint glass in sight. This is a completely inaccurate depiction of a fighting Irishman, and this type of racial bigotry should not be tolerated.

The nice thing about this thread is that I have the opportunity to foe BpBs that I didn't even know existed. Saves me the horror and annoyance of actually having to play another game with one of them.
