or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb...again.
That's right - all nukes, all the time. This will be a 16-player 1v1 league, where the person with the most points at the end of all 15 rounds will be declared the winner. No brackets; no elimination.
Only premiums are allowed as each round will consist of three games: one on a home map of your choosing, one on an away map (your opponent's home), and one on a random map. We will be playing two rounds (6 games) at a time. Invites for new rounds will be sent out only when - but hopefully very soon after - all the games from the previous rounds have been completed.
Settings: Sequential, Nuclear Random Map: Automatic, Chained, Sunny
When you sign up please supply your home map as well as your settings for deployment, reinforcements, and fog. No repeats are allowed for home maps, though any number of people may choose Random as their home map. If you played in the last Dr. Strangelove you must pick a different home map. No one may pick Classic as their home map because I hate it with the fiery passion of a thousand burning suns.
Any game that lasts longer than 15 rounds will be declared a tie regardless of the eventual winner. A win gets you 2 points and a tie gets you 1. Most points wins. If tiebreakers are needed they are most total wins, followed by most road wins and then most home wins.
I will be enforcing a Fog Rule for this tournament and breaking it will have consequences so please read carefully!
Vertical position in the standings does take into account tiebreakers if applicable.
