I think sergeant-captain are the ranks that are the most paranoid, when lower ranks attack them they snap at them in the chat. Since I was a major a lot less players tried to tell me I was making stupid moves.

I've seen "bullying" (for lack of a better term) a few times. I don't think it's a common enough problem though.

People get treated like crap for many reasons, but I feel:
- people that treat others like crap JUST because of their rank (high or low) are condescending jagoffs.
- personally, I try to treat decent people nicely for several reasons: I'm generally a friendly person (ask MC, King_Herpes, kiron, HighlanderAttack, etc.), but there is also the possiblibity of repeat business, etc.
- however now, idiots and assholes deserve some level of verbal abuse -- if there's a valid reason (particularly replies to nastiness).
- there are VERY cool clans (nice friendly people) and there are groups of that are much less than that
- there are nice people and a bunch of rude people here at CC

I am amazed at how:
- many people treat people like crap based on rumors, etc.
- how many people bad-mouth basically nice people -- for no good reason (are they spoiled brats, used to getting their way?)
- many originally rude people (most that I've talked to) will back off when they get to know a decent person falsely harassed
- rude people shut up after they are beaten badly by the person they mouth off about

Finally, ANYONE (including jefjef, owenshooter, Charioteers, etc., you know -- the INNER CIRCLE) that would like to trade verbal punches in Live Chat PM, get a hold of me and we'll arrange something. I'll go one on one with ANY of you -- no pre-planned witicisms, just off the cuff comments. But please, no light sabers -- or puke green shirts (blehhh). Now, I'll take fries with my hamburger -- hold the mustard you "bad asses".
