50 will enter, but only 1 will survive.
All maps in this tournament will be on a random map with the following settings:
Game Settings: Automatic, Sequential, No Spoils, Chained, Foggy.
Round 1
Will consist of 25 1v1 games.
Play order in the first round will be random. This will be done with random.org.
If you lose in round 1 you will be eliminated.
Round 2
Will consist of 5 teams of 4.
Teams will be assembled by the winners scores in round 1.
The 5 highest scorers in round 1 receive a bye into round 3.
The next 4 highest scorers will be on a team and then the next four and so on.
Each team will play each other once.
The team with the least amount of wins in round 2 will be eliminated.
In the case of a tie the teams with the least amount of wins will play each other again for a tie breaker.
Round 3
Will consist of 7 teams of 3.
Teams will be assembled by the winners scores in round 1.
The 3 highest scorers in round 1 will be on a team and then the next three and so on.
Each team will play each other once.
The three teams with the least amount of wins in round 3 will be eliminated.
In the case of a tie, the tied teams will play each other again for a tie breaker.
Round 4
Will consist of 6 teams of 2.
Teams will be assembled by the winners scores in round 1.
The 2 highest scorers in round 1 will be on a team and then the next two and so on.
Each team will play each other once.
The two teams with the least amount of wins in round 4 will be eliminated.
In the case of a tie, the tied teams will play each other again for a tie breaker.
Round 5
Will consist of 2 four player assassin games.
Play order in the fifth round will be random. This will be done with random.org.
The 2 winners will move on to the finals.
Finals
Will be a 1v1 best of 5 championship round.
The winner of this round wins the tournament.
Deadbeats in round 1 will be replaced with a reserve.
Deadbeats in any other round will be replaced by someone who was eliminated in a previous round.
