EFSC 2010: Men's Singles
European Figure Skating Championships 2010 - Estonia, Tallinn
3 open game slots are needed to participate in the tournament (premiums are asked to play 5 games time to time).
The European Figure Skating Championships ("Europeans") is an annual figure skating competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of European Champion. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), and is the oldest of the 4 annual figure skating competitions designated "ISU Championships". Skaters compete in the categories of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition is generally held in January. In 2010, they will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from 18 January to 24 January. (Wikipedia)
As a proud proud Estonian I cannot pass a chance to hold a tournament dedicated to this event because it is a great honour to have a chance to run such an amazing event in my home country. This tournament will not be as magnificent as the real competition but nevertheless I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun!
Changed! I will run 4 different tournaments related to this event but note one thing - you can only sign up to one doubles and one singles EFSC 2010 tournament! So, either Ladies Singles or Men's Singles and Pair Skating or Ice Dancing.
Men's Singles
This arena is saved for the powerful but graceful Men of figure skating. You do not have to be a male (nor European) to enter the tournament. Settings will be constant throughout the tournament. Overall I'll be accepting 37 participants (like in the real event).
Settings
Europa, 2-player, Standard, Casual, Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny.
Rounds
Short program (round 1): everybody plays against everybody. 20 best players (with most wins) advance to 2nd round.
Free skating (round 2): remaining 20 players play against each other. Previous score is kept and new wins will be added to it.
Winner
Overall, player with most wins is declared Champion of Men's Singles.
