Welcome to the 1 BETA Mini-Series Tournament hosted by the one and only Blitzaholic!

The maps for the mini-series will be Classic, Pelo War, Fractured America, Feudal Epic, Jamaica, Chicago, Rail Africa. However, for this tourney it will all be on CLASSIC map only.



ALL PREMIUM PLAYERS ARE WELCOME as 7 games per round!


Format:
The tournament will feature 16 players who will face off in a single elimination bracket, best of 7 every round.
All games in the tournament will be on the CLASSIC map, with the following settings: Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny


Sign Ups:
Signing up is very simple, all you have to do is post with your name and the name of your partners. I don't need any other information from you. Playing order is by how you sign up, team 1 plays 4, team 2 plays 3, etc.


Games:
When we have all the teams needed I will set up the games and then send them to both teams who have 96 hours to join or you may be forfeited, these are fast hitting.

Little? Yes. Good? No. I know it's allowed but nevertheless I find this kind of format extremely lame as there's always interest in team tournaments and getting 8 teams to play wouldn't be hard.

Blitz, nope, not joining. Even if I did join new tournaments at this point then I don't think this format would be something I'd prefer to be part of. You do know that people's respect towards you will grow a lot more when you run fair and open to all tournaments?

I am not sure how many, maybe it was around 10 or 15 or so, not sure, but, I have run many of the 8 , and 16 players ones too.


this is new and because they are beta maps is why it is a mini series and smaller, beta is new and not as popular.

I think beta maps are popular exactly because they are new and people want to test and try them. So, as I see it, you wouldn't have problems getting 8 teams and that makes your explanation weak. Anyways, as I said, I'm not in. Also, I'm not spamming, just stating my opinion and trying to understand why you run such small and, in my eyes, unfair tournaments.

You have 5 teams after 3 hours of sign ups and you are saying that there wouldn't be enough interest for 8 teams? I do hope you are man enough to give up your team's spot to Drew483's team because a decent tournament organiser would find a way to include players who are interested in joining.
