show: The Completed Storyline
The Island The 4-person final giving you a chance to win an exotic holiday to one of Earth's only remaining habitable places is about to begin. Be ready, finish 1st or 2nd in this series of two battle simulations (of the Final World War) and you could be packing your bags for the holiday of a lifetime. Your friends all send you wishes all send you good luck wishes on your TV-Pod and then there is a knock at your door. Your palms feel sweaty as the Auto-Bot leads you to the TV Studio and your game pod. 'Here we go"' you think ...The Island You prepare your bags for the holiday of a lifetime. As the day of departure to Earth draws nearer, you have an uneasy feeling about the hosts. However much you try to convince yourself that all is well, you can't help noticing their demeanour is strange and their tone of voice towards you and the other winning contestants has changed. The day before leaving you are taken upstairs for immunisations, or so you are led to believe. On your way however, you look through the window of a medical room and are horrified to see one of competition winners writhing in agony on a medical table. He sees you and mouths, "its a trap". Before your hosts can realise you have seen this, you pretend to tie your shoeslaces and make a run for it. Your heart pounding, you run this way and that, persued through the labyrinth of corridors of the medical centre. You finally give them the slip by hiding in a dark store cupboard, and you collect your thoughts once you have heard them pass in the corridor outside. Luckily you find a doctor's cloak in the store room and, determined to unravel the mystery, you set off in search of a medical centre computer to see if you can gain information. You soon stumble upon and empty office. Although the computer is locked, sifting through paper files, you soon realise that not only is the Island Competition a lie, but so is your whole life. Rather than being aboard a space station orbiting an earth half-destroyed in the Final War, you discover that you are a scientifically produced genetic copy of a rich 'customer'. Your whole life has been spent underground, somewhere in the USA, constantly living the lie of a life that the 'host' have led you to believe. Further hunting through files leads you to a plan of the complex. Just as you make your escape, the alarm sounds. The host who were accompanying you must have admitted defeat and gone shame-facedly to their boss to raise the alarm. You hear running footsteps as you approach the main entrance of the complex and run for it ... Outside is a barren, desert-like landscape. Mindful of your persuants you head for a wooded area to your right. As you emerge from the Forest onto a road you breath a sigh of relief. Just as you start to make out the distant voices of your persuants again, you hear a car approach. Hitching a lift seems a good idea ...The Island You spot your persuants following you their vehicles and realise your only hope is to take control of the car you have hitched a lift in. The persuit seems endless but gives you time to reflect and plan. You realise you must get rid of your assailants and then find and elimiate your 'owner' out in the West. If you are a carbon sopy of him, made for body part 'recycling' then it would surely be easy to assume his identity, once he is eliminated. The Island Having succesfully eliminated and assumed the identity of your 'owner', you live the life of luxury, although always with a nagging worm of a thought in the back of your mind. Eventually you relent, give in to the thought and determine to set about the downfall of the cloning corporation and free the thousands of other clones imprisoned and brainwashed beneath the desert. Researching the corporation dark into the night, you realise they are supported by a number of dodgy senators. You therefore form a plan to eliminate these senators, publicly reveal the cloning atrocity and form a force to attack the corporation and its various secret desert 'laboratories' ....
