FIrst Lunar War (Short Terminator Series, Relentless)
Congratulations to kgbpizza for winning the tournament !
Q: What is a ‘relentless’ tournament?
A: It is for relentless players – you get just 14 hours to take your turn.
- If you take any longer than that more than once (in any single match) then you lose that match (score no points). The same applies if you or miss a turn (just one turn). Simple!
It is up to players to report any infractions to the Tournament Organiser.
With the discovery of Helium-3 on the moon, the World's major super-powers amass their space forces, hoping to secure control of the vast untapped HE-3 resources.
The superpowers launch wave after wave of attack craft, racing against each other to construst new shuttles as quickly as possible. A long series of battles takes place and thousands of rapidly conscripted astro-troops are massacred in what turns out to be a long, drawn-out campaign: the First Lunar War.
Can you lead your forces to ultimate victory?
This is another tournament in a series of short terminator tournaments I am releasing. It is open to all players with a decent attendance record (see below). Preemium required.
Details:
Spoiler
Four groups of 5 players each engage in 4 terminator battles - two escalating, one flat rate, one nuclear. Due to attack craft arriving at different points in time, the 5 players also engage with one another in a round-robin series of 1 v 1 no spoils battles.
The 2 players with most terminations* will progress (in the event of a tie then finishing positions in terminator matches will be compared – if these are also equal then a tie-break will take place).
Players finishing third in each group will play a 1 v 1 tie-breaker with the winner progressing.
Semi-Finals:

Spoiler
Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Preemium required.
Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM / invite is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).
Spoiler
For the first round, reserves will be drawn from the reserve list.
After each round players knocked-out will be sent a PM if a reserve position occurs. If this is unsuccessful then the matches in question will take place with one fewer player.
For the finals, reserves will not be sought - matches in question will take place with one fewer player.
