All holes will be sequential, sunny, manual deploy, escalating spoils and unlimited reinforcements
Holes will be manned by a volunteer. Each volunteer will play every golfer on his hole. Volunteers are not able to win the tournament, but ARE able to win a general achievement medal (see below)
Scoring for golfers
Par 3 Holes
- Win in 5 rounds or less = Birdie
- Win in 6+ rounds = Par
- Lose in 5 rounds or less = Double Bogey
- Lose in 6-10 rounds = Bogey
- Loes in11+ rounds = Par
Par 4 Holes
- Win in 5 rounds or less = Eagle
- Win in 6-10 rounds = Birdie
- Win in 11+ rounds = Par
- Lose in 5 rounds or less = Double Bogey
- Lose in 6-15 rounds = Bogey
- Lose in 16+ rounds = Par
Par 5 Holes
- Win in 10 rounds or less = Eagle
- Win in 11-20 rounds = Birdie
- Win in 20+ rounds = Par
- Lose in 10 rounds or less = Double Bogey
- Lose in 11-20 rounds = Bogey
- Lose in 20+ rounds = Par
At the end of round 1, the top 5 scorers will move on to round two, with scores being cumulative. In the event of ties, it is possible that more than 5 golfers move on.
Should there be a tie at the end of round 2, the tiebreaker will be first person to score better on the course starting with hole # 1.
General Achievement Medal
I have put in a request for the end of the tournament, for the hole volunteers to play the course against the other volunteers with the winner being awarded a general achievement medal. It is pending approval.
Requirements for Roles
Hole Volunteer ā Should have a reasonable amount of experience and success on the map they represent and have good attendance. If youāre willing to volunteer, please post multiple maps youād be willing to man in order of preference and make it clear that you would like to fill the role of volunteer.
Golfer ā Min 98% attendance and premium member
