THE DEPARTED Mafia (Game already started)

Post by MountainLion »

I'm going to organize a Mafia game based on the movie "The Departed." I have a question though before I begin to put it together: Has anyone done a "The Departed" mafia game? If not, I will do it.

The roles in the movie are very complex, so it will take me a while to determine each role. I want to make this one a lot of fun too, so I will use pictures, pre-write death scenes, and get most of the work done before we start so that I won't have to do much during the game which would slow it down. Because of this there will be some time between sign-ups and the beginning of the game, but if you'll be patient, it will be worth it. Plus I don't want to host a game while I'm in other games. I'm in two games right now, so it could be a couple weeks or so before we start.

Sign up for the game now! Roles will be completely random and drawn out of a Michigan Wolverines hat.

There won't be a jester in this one, but promise me you'll try to play a good game sheep.

If you can't do that, I may not let you in this one. Maybe let everyone take a vote on letting you in...

I've been wanting to play a serious game and I have with Pancake's game. Unfortunatly Fircoal's game is the one people are paying attention to.

Let's just say the roles will be similar to the roles in the movie.

If you've seen the movie it will help you in this game.

Unforunatly? They should be paying attention to my game.

As for this game. 1) I don't know the movie well.

2) I'm probably not going to sign up, because I have a lot of games right now, and I'm playing Pokemon Diamond a lot too. But if yo want me to play. I might.

Fircoal it will probably be 2-3 weeks before I start this game...maybe you'll be ready then. I would like to have more experienced players in this one as the roles and story could get as complicated as the movie and it's twists.
