Highly revolting and makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race
A couple of weeks ago in Melbourne, Victoria, some guy was trying to pull a woman out of a taxi. An innocent bystander stopped to tell the guy to cut it out, and it ended up getting him shot and killed, while the woman and another bystander also got shot.
That's the kind of sick world we live in where a majority of people are too afraid to help in case they get injured themselves. But to stand by and watch, or to take pictures is just shameful and the people involved should be charged with some kind of offense
debra is right, although the goverment is probably not going to do squat because of some lame ass excuse
a year or so later most likely a law will come out saying "You must help a human being that is in danger, if you do not you will be charged with 1st degree murder!"
But i just cant beleive some people...

Your obsession with mrswdk is really sad.

yeah, 1st degree murder is excessive but there should be some kind of fine or something for someone who takes a picture of someone dieing then walks away.

I never said first degree murder That's a bit extreme, and I can't tell if you're trying to take the piss out of me or not But seriously, to let someone die on the ground in front of you while you take a picture for posterity should attract some kind of charge.

Uh oh! You better watch it. You do know that Guiscard patrols these threads, don't you?
In some states of Australia if you have your first aid certificate and are directly involved in a road accident and don't help out with first aid (if physically in a position to do so), you are held accountable. I think something similar should apply to morons who stand around taking pictures instead of trying to help the wounded. You are directly contributing to their bodily harm by doing nothing.

... Some mix of negligent homicide with manslaughter ... negligent manslaughter? Does such a thing exist?
... It's a sickening story. I cannot help but wonder as to the economic class of those involved. I mean, were they uptown yuppy types, downtown working class types, or slum unemployed types?

Yes, but it shouldn't be some really strict sentencing.
Personally I wouldn't say they are morons as much as they are heartless debbie.
