And now for my next tournament: The Long Walk
Joining:
To join
-have played 50 games
-have a premium membership. As this tournament will run a long time, or sometimes involving more than one game at a time, I feel I must exclude non-premiums from this one.
Rules:
i)All games will be standard/sequential.
ii)All games are 1v1v1v1v1, until teams begin to be eliminated.
iii)This tournament consists of 25 players, divided into 5 teams, loosely assembled by a map theme.
iv)Each player will choose one of the maps as their "home" map. This map will be played once every 5 games. Until that player is eliminated, no other team member will play on that map.
v)In each round there will be as many games as there are remaining groups. One home map from each group.
vii)The tournament takes place in 5 round groups, with a player being eliminated at the end of each 5 round group.
viii)At the end of 5 rounds, the team with the lowest score, loses its member with the worst record. Another team member must then play more than 1 game per round, to pick up the slack.
ix)Teams must decide amongst themselves which games to join.
x)The proper member must play their home map, and no team members may join the same game. Each team member must play a game, when possible.
xi)If only one member of a team remains, they will play their home map each round, and must finish first or second or be eliminated. This is the only way to eliminate the last player of a team as their tournament points no longer will matter.
xii)Winner is the last team member or members standing.
xiii)Rules subject to change with fair warning.
