what are all the thin black lines in the background for... they could be misconstrued as connections, so you should take them out.

ps. gameplay looks a little bland, and graphics can be greatly improved
I'll add a legend to explain and I'll brighten the dark lines to indiciate that they aren't ...

This will be my first map and I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing even though I've read the map handbook but I'm still confused on how to get it through the foundry.

Yes, that would be extremely helpful if I knew how to get the selection to be selected after I release the mouse button.
